I bought the game ~2 weeks ago and never got any serial key. I assumed the game would pop up on Impulse (yes I have the correct settings).. But it's not there. So now I'm guessing I have to wait for an e-mail with a beta code?
I preordered a few weeks ago, it just showed up on impulse a few minutes ago. no beta code required.

Still nothing, but I guess that means they're going though the pre-orders systematically.
You need to have "show pre-release versions" showing in Impulse, and make sure you are logged in with the account that purchased it. See the link below for instructions.

Ah yes it would seem I was correct. I just read this on Stardock's twitter:
If you don't see Elemental - beta 2 in Impulse yet, no worries, it takes time to get to everyone.

Yes, all the pre-orders have to charge and since there is a lot, it takes time to go through.
You don't have to charge me if it's too much hassle. Just give me the beta.

I don't have time to search on if this has been reported already, but I thought I'd let people know you'll get a confirmation email when Stardock charges you.
