Yea, this bug/exploit was already reported, hopeful devs will pay attention to it.

I can beat them with lvl 8 sov and heroes.
I am not sure which level of difficulty you are talking about.
I meant the hit points of other heroes and not other units. You are right, that units with the impulsive trait are very powerful at the moment and i think that the impulsive trait should be replaced by an initiative bonus of 2. The decimate ability of the warrior tree helps a melee hero, because his attack is multiplied with the number of units in the enemy group.
Agree, decimate is a must, all the more placement of it is not that
Hmmm, if warriors would have an attack of around 50 at level 20 the hit points of non-defender heroes would be too low, because an attack of 50 will kill most heroes with one hit. That is currently the case with mage heroes, because they can inflict 92 points of damage with the flame dart spell (40 + 50 % (warlock) + 80 % (evoker IV)) or 46 points of damage with the storm spell (20 + 50 % (warlock) + 80 % (evoker IV)).
Really?&nbs
Print Screen as the button to take screenshots should be determined by the program itself, not by Windows. Have you tried just hitting Print Screen without the Windows key and then checking your Screenshots folder?
Nope. I can paste in into paint, but does not save it. Win+printscreen saves it directly to a folder.
I have realized that armour recently become very irrelevant. Abilities to ignore armour that swords, spear and bows have, together with 'bash' causes that once you have mid-late games armies battle turn in to contest who hits first. Sometimes it is bad to the point that it is literally one-shot situation. If i get them first, i one-shot them, if they get me first, I am dead. Recently i discover that there is no point in wasting precious metal on armour, i use it all for high level wea
Btw, doesn't print screen button work for making screenshots? Its supposed to be in game shortcut and screens are placed in 'MyGames\LegendaryHeroes\ScreenShots' folder.
In Windows 8 you use Win+print screen. In game, whenever i press win button screen goes to the closest city (do not ask me why)
I've seen the AI place outpost in stupid locations, the only purpose of which, is to block my expansion.
Have nothing against outposts, but cities is an overkill.
I think you are speaking of an unconquered wildland. My experience is that the roads in the wildland behave in the same way as those in the territory of an enemy with which you are at war. Thus your troops lose the movement bonus. But also the creatures belonging to the wildland do get the movement bonus! So beware of unexpected attacks from further away than you think is possible. I think this works
I think that the lethal traits should increase the damage by 5, 5 and 5 for a total of + 15. + 1 attack per level is dangerous, because it results in useless skills or spells (flame dart, ...) at low levels and overpowered skills or spells at high levels. The warrior tree should look like this: https://forums.elementalgame.com/442525
Disagree. Even on
Agree, there is no clear vision right now for classes. The problem is that we have basically three melee characters in game: defender, warrior and assassin. I agree we should merge defender and warrior and create real warrior, then change assassin into ranger (range attack hero), and then create perhaps a new class in place of administrator: general. General could field bigger armies, and give significant bonuses, heal, inspire, and be a support kind of hero. Administrator in a game where 80%
Two points: first of all, i could not build cities in those places, they were not available. Second, he basically builds a city on a border, should not be allowed. Third, those cities have not future. I think this game promotes wise placing of cities, not their spam. Even if they take my outpost, there is no reason to build city there. Finally, as i said, 10 tiles north you had 3/5 spot with 2 essences available, and you build two cities there ...
I love to play, sometimes, pure warrior hero, with an army and with minimal magic. For now, however, it is quite hard, not to say impossible. Warrior hero is also kind of blah. Here are my thoughts: First of all - very low attack. I have now Verga on lvl 12 warrior, he uses 16 attack one-handed pike, and his total attack is 25. 16 (pike) + 3 (warrior) + 6 ('1+2+3' from skill tree). This means that he has only +9 bonus to attack.
By the way, it is almost impossible to take screen shot on Win 8 now, because Win key works as 'next city' button ... Here it is how AI places two of its cities (not to mention that north of this spot there were excellent spots available - like 10 tiles north). Problem is that they sandwitched my outpost between two cities. There you can see also the tower of witch as first building build in a new city (very strange) <a href="https://dl.dropbox.com/u/164018
when your road is build through the wildland it is ignored and troops moving through it pay normal cost in mp, very annoying - last game i had two tiles of a road going through wildland and troops will always slow down/stop there new unit coming out of city has never more than 2 movement points; for instance cavalry will show as having 2/4 mp. Similarly, if a cavalry is stationed in a city that has also slower troops, its initial mps are cut down (it will have aga
Pyre of man supposed to last 3 turns. The problem is that he is rather big and occupies 9 squares. When the spell is cast, however, the cursor turns into one square summon tile. If pyre is summon so he covers some enemies (not on entirely free 9-square tiles) he lasts less turns (as long as their are enemies among his feet he looses his turns). Consequently, i have seen pyre going out without even attacking once and 1-2 attacks is norm. Only if i cast him far from enemies he gets 3-turns.&nbs
Nope, i did not use fireball ability - his stomp is way better than his fireball. Anyway, I will do some more tests tonight.
I am just finishing my game on "expert" - playing Resoln and basically only with summons. Was not difficult at all, numerous summons also give you a good boost to your power rating for some reason. Later summons have quite nice abilities: fire elementals decimate normal troops (overpower), air hit hard and move fast, earth hard to destroy etc. They regenerate, cast death protection, another one cast mud allowing basically to control battle etc. Not to mention spam of skels ...
Anyone who watches a movie in a theater is crazy IMO. For $20 you can buy a brand new, quality, "non-mainstream" game, like Eador, which just went up for prepurchase on Steam. There is absolutely not an entire $20 game worth of content added by LH currently, not even remotely close. I'd probably be up in arms about this if I didn't get it for free, but since I did I'm just highly disappointed and trying to enjoy it anyway.
<p
Well, when you save/load frequently the game still crushes quite often, and tends to be unstable after a long session (recently i discovered that manual quick saving instead of every turn auto-save helps game's stability a lot) old bugs are still there - path finding, not accurate saves, and numerous little things
- pyre of man - in description it says that it lasts three turns; however, after casting it and paying incredible 300 mana i was allowed to have only one action by this summon (thus, i am not sure whose 3 turns this spell last); in those condition the spell is total mana waste - air elemental for some reason is the only summon (apart from shadow warg) that you can cast both strategically and tactically; other summons cannot be cast during tactical battle in order to have 2nd, though t
If the AI is not a PLAYER then why do the manual/rules call them OPPONENTS and other AI PLAYERS? eh? It's in black in white and there's not one thread that says the ai just represents a CHALLENGE. lmao You're a CHEATER just accept it and enjoy YOUR game as you CHEAT.
Good manual does not call AI Gods, or you will have a new religion.
Almost never.
Sorry, missed those.
That makes sense and the new mechanic does create some uncomfortable decisions (which I still like). Now that I really understand your position I'm surprised you didn't like the suggestion to move the pop cost from creating the outpost to only if the consulate is built...?
I am sorry - i am not sure i understand it :)
