Same for me, just like Spyndel. I have a 8800 gts in a laptop, and it gets this alt tab issue every 3rd or so time. Drivers are up to date. It's annoying, but Windowed mode fixes it temporarily. hope it gets fixed soon; this laptop has this issue, my other one gets a white screen :(

I'm playing on the newest patch, and I'm getting the white screen bug that a lot of other people seem to be getting, except I'm getting it during the Campaign and only when I load a game. It seemed to happen nearly every time, until I turned full screen off and played in a window; now it only happens every other time or so. I'm playing on a dell e1705, with a go 7900gs video card. Same issue, I'll expand on this a bit. I'm having the same issue, but it's not only for city improvements. If you have the city building improvement window open, or the unit training window open, if you try to move the mouse around to look at the map (i.e. if you forgot that the city's window was still open) the map/ mouse get very jittery and you can't move so well. Logitech G9, same problem. I was using the CRTL key, selecting units to bring out of a city. It can be avoided by crtl clicking, then let go of crtl, then move the mouse to the next guy, crtl-click again, etc. A bit annoying, hope you get this solved.

Similar issue for me. I'm using Windows 7 32-bit though, not 64. It doesn't crash every single time, but it does it quite frequently on an alt-tab in full screen. I just want to also mention that Fire Giants can't use their skills because they also don't have enough action points (or is that mana?). Before the patch, they had 3 or 4 skills available to them (flame strike, etc), and now everything except melee is crossed out because there's not enough action points, no matter what I do. So my point is that maybe there's some other units that this bug affected, not just archers. Hope you guys fix it, thanks Frogboy for your hard work!

Alright, maybe it's not very original nowadays, but for a strategy game, I think it's pretty unique. I'll throw my opinion of your specs in here, since people are posting some pretty high spec'ed computers. So the minimum requirements are just that I would assume, minimum to get into the game and play it normally. Even a netbook has MUCH lower specs than the minimum specs listed for the game, but it can play it on the cloth map. Ok. I guess I should be surprised that a developer puts this much work into a game after it's gone gold, since no other company really does, but after browsing these forums apparently that's standard fare from Stardock. For anything that is unbalanced in multiplayer, I hope it will have a settings toggle to turn it on or off. i.e. I would hope quests, victory conditions (ala Civ4), etc. can be turned on or off during the game's setup in multiplayer (and single player too, for that matter), based on what people want to play. I haven't played the beta (I only pre-ordered recently) but if things are already done this way, then never mind.

Delay, delay! By all means, just get it right. I mean, assuming this will be the game I'm expecting from the journals and previews, then I'll be buying it no matter what. However, if it's rushed and tons of bugs are left in there, then YOU guys (stardock) will feel it (i.e. less purchases). So do what you have to, and get it the way you want it, then release it; we'll still be here. There's not much of a market these days for turn-based fantasy games, so our attention won't wander much.

Sorry for the long post. TheGrayghost said the exact thing I was going to say. It's kinda weird to think about, but it will really speed things up. If you didn't read his post, my idea goes like this: Finish your stuff, then end your turn. At that point, your game goes into like a "queue" mode. Everything I read about this game makes it sound better and better. Hope it finally makes me uninstall Master of Magic :) I'm kinda hoping something can finally beat it.
