Thanks. Jeslijar you are fast. I misunderstood the My Account page. It does say the LE boxed version is there. Boo I was hoping that they would have been shipped early to coincide considering they were shipped to the big box stores already. Anyway that is how it goes I guess. Hope the 0 Day patch isn't too big. Sounds like there are quite a few probs and complaints. Onthe bright side of this it might be better that it is tak

I have been asking without reply are the boxed versions in the mail yet?
I can't seem rdy to forgive myself for it either. Didn't even know what the series was or about. Only looked like a good rpg.
Thanks Mtn-Man and mrlarone for the reply. Didn't realize they were thinking of doing this. Great news and glad Stardock just doesn't dismiss customers who still can't get reliable internet service.
Nope not yet. Not because of Stardock but because of moving to a new province and having abysmal internet services and options. To download the game I would be charged by my carrier an extra 100 dollars for using 2 gigs worth of bandwidth. No other options are available because they all have they same price scheme from multiple carriers. Waiting for mine to arrive by snail mail but me thinks it will be next week before it arrives and than there will be a 0-day p
Diablo 2 Battlechest is still over 40 dollars in lots of places.
Hello everyone and was wondering about the mail orders from Stardock. Will they have been shipped out already so as everyone would be using the game on the same day or will they be shipped tomorrow and then you wait for shipping so maybe Thursday or Friday before it arrives. Would be nice if they were shipped out so it would all kinda be close with DD distribution but I imagine the logistics would have been a huge undertaking. Anyway can't wait to
I remember buying Morrowwind for around 80 dollars. Normal edition. Nothing special. Thats pushing it.
Just use the great Silent Storm engine. Best tactical squad based game ever. Yes it beats JA2 and X-Com. Not as strong on the role playing but the in game mechanics of using your hearing to hear through walls plus having the ability of picking from different classes makes it a must or any squad based tactical fans. Be warned though because it was released back in 2004 it will not run on a comp with over 3 gig of RAM. It will come up with an unsupported vedeo card error
If they do this properly it could be a great game.
This is a sad sad day for me. Syndicate was a game I was thinking would be a great re-make. Really sad about games having different names and being the same game. I guess we could blame it on consoles but it is really about money and exploiting the games engine and the gamers that buy the games. There was one game that was released back in 2004 which was awesome and could have easily been the new "X-Com". It had third person isometric view with de
Hi Stardock and community. I was wondering who I would talk to to switch my order like the topic says. I have ended up moving to a place that has a 5 gig internet cap per month and every gig over that cost an extra 50 dollars. Hard to believe that in this day in age and in Canada that we can so blatantly get ripped off but oh well. Thats life. Thanks for any help DariasDruss
Ahh not to condone it or anything but just use the cracks widely available on the net for games that have to have steam running in the background. Problem solved. For those of us that think that is wrong or "breaking the law" enjoy the crappy DRM that ruins your gaming experience. Even if there wasn't any pirates you would still have the DRM. I for one will be buying Civ 5 and will be using a crack to play it. Most EULA stomp all over your individual rights as a consumer anywa
Morrowind for me. Never heard of the Elder Scrolls but I picked it up because the screen shots looked epic. Spent many hours tramping around in that game never to complete it.
Don't think anyone mentioned Silent Storm or its sequel Silent Storm : Sentinels. It is the best squad based game I have ever played with fully destructible environs with RPG elements. Your squad can lvl up and you can pick from six different classes when making your character. Anything from medic to sniper. All act differently and all have their specializations. I highly recommend this game. Currently though if you have more than 4 gigs of RAM the game won't start and will give
I am thinking about doing some tinkering to bring my processor up from 2.66 to 3.2 but I am kinda nervous. I know once I do some over clocking it will be easy just like my first build (my current I7 rig). I have looking into it quite a bit but I think until it is at least a yr old before I start changin it. I know if you do overclocking right it is fine. Same as tuning a cars engine to run smoothly but I will wait until I can get a good book or mag that shows the process step by step.
It should be on the sticker on the box your CPU came in. It will say batch number. i also think it is stamped on the chip but I don't think you wanna take your heatsink and thermal paste off to find the batch number.
Thanks for the numbers but I am out of luck. My Batch# is 3923A366
rothdave1 mentioned this: Additionally with the i7 920s and 930s they sell so effectively that chips binned as 975X are sold as i7 920 (i.e. week 45-49 2009). I bought my I7 920 right around that time. Is there any batch numbers I could look at to see if my chip is actually a 975x.
I remember the US version of Sacred was edited so it didn't have monsters being decapitated and spurting blood. Drifted pretty far off topic now but whatever :) The Witcher and Indigo Prophecy were also edited to meet American guidelines.
Have to agree with the Frogger. I seen it last night and it reminded me alot of Skrull. I would have to say it gets about 5.5 out of 10 from me.
Forums went gablooeeeyyyy Just becnhmarked The Dark Tower. Everything high to very high and either 8x to 16x at 1080p and averaged 32.80 FPS Very happy with that. Only thing is it only reconized 4084 megs of RAM instead of my 6 gig.
A top of the line PC will eat consoles for lunch. A midline PC will compete with consoles easily. I imagine even a bottomline PC will look just as good as most console titles out there. Consoles are way outdated but hey graphics aren't eveything. Good games never die. Anyway just picked up a copy of Just Cause 2 and am gonna give it a try.
We are getting way way off topic here. As for Synnworlds questions about using emulators for games no longer being made or sold. I think it is fine to use emulators for old NES and SNES games. The producers of such products are not losing sales because you can't buy them anyways or a system to use them on. They are not losing out at all. What they are gaining in the long run especially if the game was a good one (Zelda) they are getting exposure for futu
Have the enhanced version but never completed the game. Too laggy on my old comp but I am too lazy to go through the story line again. Anyways wanted to give a headsup and recommend the books. Which are great by the way!
