They could have just made a program that would have automatically sent the crashlog to a certain area. Anyway this game should be getting fixed up by now. Has been released for 5 months.

I agree with alot of what Lord Xia says. I haven't read every page but I wish they stop over simplifying some of the most important factors in the game. (Ex. Only land that has a resource on it is useful) All land should be useful not just a place that has a resource on it. Stupid when you can only grow food on fertile land out of hundreds of acres of grassland. Stupid. Forests should provide some food and lumber. City building is way more complicated than it needs to b

I stopped reading Robert Jordan at book eight I think. Story was going no where for me and there were so many past ideas that he put in the story than promptly never mentioned again. Yeah Brandon Sanderson's writing style is different than alot of other guys and by different I mean if he is going to finish something it will be finished. He has written some very good books "Elantris" and "Warbreaker" and though they could have easily been a triology he finished it in one book and you a

Well patching for me from 1.09 to 1.10 was a 1.91 gig update problem and I was told it was my fault and not the games or impulses. Well never ever blame the customer and lo and behold it wasn't my fault. As I bought a copy of the LE I have it on disk so I deleted everything and re-installed everything and it was 300meg download (I think) to update it from 1.0 to 1.10. Now after all that to go from 1.10 to 1.11 it requires a further 1.41 gig update. C'mon guys.

Is it suppose to be a 1.41 gig download to patch or do I have to delete everything again so I can update properly?

Hello Everyone and Happy New Year. I just finished "The Scar" by China Melville and while it was alright I just didn't find it great. I like the world and characters but I found the actual story telling to be just off somehow. Might try some of his other books but I was let down to say the least. As far as the setting goes with sci-fi/fantasy world set during the age of sail/steampower I find Stephen Hunt does a much better job in the same type of setting. Mysel

Hello everybody. I have been giving Elemental another go and have played the starts to 2 or 3 games and I am puzzled on how to attack cities. I declared war on Magnar (I was capitar). They had only one city and I had 3 but when I sent down my main army and channeler to attack it wouldn't let me. I was at war with them and I declared war on them. Do I need to research a way to take cities? One other question about exploring w

Just because we don't know doesn't mean there was anything extraordinary happening. The roman colosseum built in Rome is considered to be on par with the pyramids in Egypt and they were built many decades after wards but it is an awesome feat of engineering. Running water up 6 stories for the lower caste to drink from and a ceiling that could close over to keep out the hot sun and rain. It was built I think over 8 yrs and it is believed to be able to house around 50,000 people. That's

Simple and yet mysteriously unknown? Sounds like a contradiction. Given our knowledge of the technological and industrial capabilities of that ancient civilization, I'd say it's more than tantamount to an actual miracle. Not so clear cut in fact, but common sense nonetheless. No the simple part was referring to the Egyptians building the pyramids. We know they built them and in what time frame and for who. How they built them is currently a debate and isn't

Pyramids were built by humans. Simple as that. As to the mystery as how it was done who cares. Pyramids being built in a straight line isn't hard to do if you use constellations as your guide. All it took to build anything in a straight line was some very simple tools from stakes with strings to boards in an "X" configuration and you looked at something through the meeting point of the two sticks.(That was in reply to someone implying that aliens had to help draw a line to build the pyramids

You probably would be better to look around your home town to see if you can find it. It ships from Ohio and I received two of the LE editions. One I paid duty on the other I didn't.

No luck over at the tech support forums but at least I know it isn't just me. Alot of people having this problem with the big downloads so I hope they will fix this soon. Thanks for any suggestions.

Hello I have the same problem trying to update from 1.09n to 1.1. Can't downgrade and it always tries to download a 1.99gig patch. I have Win7 64 and I have tried the verify and the show pre-release versions trick but I have to download the whole game. Don't have enough bandwidth allowance. Is there anyway to get the patch and than install it manually outside of Impulse? I am going to uninstall the game than re-install off of the disk. Hop

As a MOM successor yes it is a big disappointment so far and I don't say that because it won't update I say that because it is and has been terrible. Hope it has changed with this patch. I will post in tech support. There is a big thread going there now so I will just read up on it and see if anything was figured out.

It was never installed incorrectly. If it was installed incorrectly why did it update to 1.09n than decide now that it is installed incorrectly. Impulse just sucks. I will delete the reactor than try again. Can't find my copy on the flashdrive and removing impulse and re-installing didn't help. I had a problem before where it wouldn't update and had to remove impulse. If it won't allow me to update I guess I won't bother. Too big of a disappointment as a MOM successor a

thanks for the replys. Will try the verify . I verified it and now it is d-loading a 1.91gig update. I did have the 1.09n BETA installed. I think I have the original 1.0 game on a USB drive somewhere. Maybe a new install will help.

Is there anyway I can patch this game at another computer and transfer them? I still have a bandwidth cap so 1.99gig is about 1.89gig too big right now.

I just finished "The Night Angle Trilogy" by Brent Weeks. It wasn't to bad. The first book is definitely the best one with the second book being pretty good. He had a story that was good but he forced it to be done in three books when it could have used at least two more. I think if he wants he could do a whole series of books in his world. There is enough background history, politics, and interesting characters/magic that he could write for quite a while just based around this trilog

I don't think anyone is against modding but making a poor game and then saying the mods will make it better does suck. It should be a good game first that doesn't need to be modded. The mods can come later but Oblivion right out of the box needed to be modded and that sucks. Reminds me of another game that was released to be modded and is still in its development stages. Games need to be released that are ready to play rather than tinkered with to make it playable.
