Personally, I absolutely hate the X-Box controllers so it would be PS3 for me. Older models of the PS3 are still floating around if you were looking for compatibility with PS1/2.

I don't think the OP's Computer is all that bad, just depends on what he wants to play. Not sure how much RAM in the original computer, OP didn't say. The only thing I saw (from his post) that's obvious (for gaming) would be wiping/reloading the PC with Windows 7 64-Bit. Perhaps upgrading to a more modern video card, or not, the 8800 is still not that bad. Lastly, buying an SSD to be your boot drive would have a huge impact. PC hardware has pret
Once you start playing on the Large maps, the flaws in the economy v. unrest will become apparent.
It's a random event
Just like everyone else, really enjoying your mod. Banshee's are really OP. I was wondering if it would take much to alter the Damage Immunity to a Damage Reduction (say 75%) with a chance of complete immunity.
I'm at the point I just wish Caravans were completely removed from the game. Now that the AI is actually casting freeze, they're targeting caravans as they're perceived as enemy units. Which is also irritating having to cycle through a dozen enemy caravans to actually find the real enemy units broaching my borders.
One of those irritating little things that I hope eventually gets fixed
Derek, could you please update the descriptions of the spell "Revive the Land" for FE/LH? There's been some discussion in a recent thread as the poor description of the spell is obtuse. How is a player supposed to know it doesn't work on Desert tiles? ESPWTFBBQ? https://forums.elementalgame.com/445688/page/1/#3371420
Perhaps most of you guys doing it wrong. It won't work on desert.
Actually, this gets me a little heated. The spell description is already ass, so how is anyone supposed to know it has other limitations beyond what is implied? Really Stardock, fix this BS.
The unit type is called "Redoubter". I do have mods installed, but have never seen the AI build units without weapons before.
Right on. The current taxation system is really really bad
I do have to side with the OP for a moment. Lately I've targeted space that should have resources available and the spell has been turning up squat. Makes me wonder if there's perhaps something a little buggy with the code.
If you target a land area with the spell, it will reveal the production/grain/essence values of the tiles affected. Assuming those tiles have anything to reveal. Best spots are usually closest to mana nodes, at least 5 squares away from a city
Just a thought, but I wonder if you could incorporate a life steal effect into a staff.
I've noticed the same thing. Be careful of your loads/reloads when you're at a Fame breaking point.
I'm also disappointed that there aren't more scenarios, or a more lengthy campaign. Like the others I play sandbox primarily because there is absolutely no connection with the built-in factions aside from what you can figure out on a stat sheet. Brad wrote a book, but my experience with books about games isn't favorable, so background lore from there is nil. IMO, If Stardock were to get around to delivering more DLC, I would be someone that would pay cash for a
I always wondered about the Melee Staffs. Never found a compelling reason to use them. The idea of some Monk type units running around sounds kinda cool. Unfortunately the Staff Melee mechanics/bonuses seem kind of sucky for that purpose.
I'm playing him through now in another game with a few alterations (minor stat changes and added an ability)
I think it feels more balanced out now. He's still really good, not entirely OP like before.
Not sure if this is a bug, I think it is [1.0d]. When using the sword " Quick ", every counterattack the Champion performed has been blocked.
I mostly only play Custom Factions, but I've really grown to like the Trog and revamped Berserk ability. If my troops are built right, they get buffed, kill stuff, and I don't have to do as much pointing & clicking.
I just had my game crash and noticed that it was at the same time that Steam wanted to synchronize. Wonderful.
Not true Brad. In a recent game, I watched "Morian, the Ruin of Summer" get parked behind an AI city for hundreds of turns (not kidding). All it did was stand there and eat the occasional Settler that wandered by. There was one time Morian decided to walk to my city (~16 tiles away) so I moved him back to his parking space (Control-T). I thought about taking that tile space before the AI did excepting the fact Morian was tromping around, an AI settler walked up
I noticed the Sovereigns are back to coveting leggings. At least they started taking an interest in purchasing Mounts as well
I was griping about this a lot in FE Modding before LH came out. I also wanted to devise a control spell targeting the Subtype [Bears, Spiders, Wolves, etc] which wasn't possible in FE. I'd hoped they'd come up with a fix in LH, unfortunately not.
