Still skeptical over the elimination of Influence. Not sure how they intend to replace it, without knowing the details it just feels like a mistake.

Saw the whole thing on 60 minutes the other night. Wasn't terribly surprised as there's a lot of buzz about Africa being the next great emerging market for business. Which in my mind translates to "A lot of poor people that can be heavily exploited because Chinese workers are starting to demand more than what we want to give them"
I wish there was a real app that mimics what the Final Fantasy team has done here. I use a Gamepad on the PC for various games and what Square has come up here is far superior to the indie apps currently available. Also, please keep negative Gamepad opinions to yourself. If you don't use one, that's cool, some people do. Final Fantasy XIV Gamepad Demo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=31VUjynjed0
I am glad you are optimising your game but I wouldn't spend too much time making sure people with machines that are borderline obsolete can play your largest maps.
Even if only 33% of your sales come from customers running 32-bit PC's, would you really want to lose 1/3rd of your business sales based on what your perception of the market should be and not what it actually is?
How is this different from going into the Options/Advanced Options/ and selecting Manual Improvement Placement?
I use a program called "Display Fusion" that gives you tons of ways to manipulate multiple monitors http://www.displayfusion.com/
The only thing really wrong with XP is that it wasn't designed for the current needs of the internet and online security. XP had a fantastic run, but it's time to move on now to Win7.
What GFireflyE said above. Good Stuff..
I worked it out, i had to open the doc to notepad
If you really want to play around with the XML code a bit, try downloading Notepad++ http://notepad-plus-plus.org/
The problem here is I move a Champion that doesn't have a Tactical Spell to cast, but DOES have an item it wants to use before moving on to the next unit. Sadly, it cannot. Auto Turn is disabled in Options.
How about Evil Eye: Target Unit affected by the Evil Eye cannot move this turn. Affected Unit may still use attack skills. So adjacent enemy units could still be struck, Ranged Unit could still shoot/throw. Would be useful in doing a short-term lockdown on a mounted unit or Champion. Feels like a level 1 spell to me =/
What your mod brings to the table is really excellent, bringing in racial diversity, more starting equipment, and unique items to be found. Impressions from some of the games I've played.... Angels ; Not sure why they are banned from Path of the Gov, would have thought they'd be banned from Assassin. Elves ; Well balanced, love the Secret Paths trait, don't know why they can't build basic Hedge Walls Shadows</stron
I will say that-- potentially --Kickstarter could be the savior of game diversity.
I pre-ordered an Ouya console that was successfully funded via Kickstarter. The Ouya has already confirmed that it will be carried by big box retailers. With a purchase price of $100 is very appealing to people on a budget, unlike the new XBOX/PS4 costing in excess of $400+. Also attractive to independent studios/persons as there's no up front D
I'm happy you enjoy the ribbon, but the point of my post is that revisions of software are supposed to be more intuitive and functional than previous versions. The initial implementation of the Ribbon Bar was neither. I do IT work for a living and have no problem acclimating to new software apps.
Sorry for your inability to understand and utilize new software and features.
As for your snarky post, there's a middle finger pointed
My first experience with Word 2007 went okay until I wanted to print. Took me 20 minutes to figure out where they hid the print function. Since then I've given the ribbon the middle finger and went back to Office 2003, then later Kingsoft Office.
Brad, I don't think Stardock has a program similar to DisplayFusion. Or do you? http://www.displayfusion.com/ Tiles looks interesting, will definitely need to take that out for a spin.
Or like many, waiting for Windows 9 to come out that fixes all the things people hate about Windows 8. The "skip each other version of windows" trick. Pretty much the same. Worked once, played a few turns, saved game, exited game, start program again, crash. This is the process I use for Manually installing Mods Extract the Rar/Zip file In the Mods GFX folder, create a new folder with the mod name. In this case I make a folder called UrxenWitch Move the contents of the installing mod's gfx folder to the folder above At the root of the FallenEnchantress/Mods folder create a folder name for the m
I just updated to the 1.29 beta and the Urxen Witch Mod crashes the game on load. This is after removing all installed Mods and reinstalling with most current versions. Not sure if anyone else is having this problem.
Just wondering if you managed to fix The Imperium in 1.3? As I'd mentioned, it's not uncommon for the AI or player to build a city too close to the red border making the quest condition impossible without Razing said city. Unfun.
I'm currently enjoying the Gem Skill system in Path of Exile, in part because it reminds me of how great it worked in Final Fantasy VII. So really, you're not spending all your time collecting, breaking down, and rebuilding crappy items all the time that get overshadowed by the next tier of crappy item that requires more grind to make less crappy.
Does Kris focus primarily on Server maintenance and Infrastructure? The article was a little vague and seemed to elude that he does more than just what I think of as IT work.
Initially I was kinda meh about yet another 4x Fantasy game, took a look at their website and immediately noticed that all their games are done with a Hex grid. Okay, now it has my attention.
Pretty excellent. It does suffer from "all the names taken" syndrome. One great thing City of Heroes did right was tying User Names to e-mail accounts. Should it really matter if you're in a party where everyone's name is John or Mike? Happens in real life all the time.
So the expansion will be delivered Steam only? Let's just say I'm not a fan of Steam...... [e digicons]X([/e] There's a reason I invested in Impulse before you sold it to Gamestop Also curious if this will significantly impact Mods being written for 1.2+
