I can certainly agree with 1. Ethereal and/or Underground plane. (both would be awesome ... or even a Spiritrealm(above), Dungeonrealm(below), and Shadowland/Hell(below the below) 2. Forging Artifacts (like MoM I guess?) 3. Sea Units (perhaps with cookiecutter units rather than a unit creator, and with auto-battle only?) 4. and Mountable Beasts (can't we still ride spiders though? and Scaths? or di

Yes, I would agree that Life is quite a powerful school. Haven't investigated death in a long while tho ... (used to love the death school back in the day, wonder if its still the same :p)
refresh me on what overpower is again? (I think its knockdown but not sure ...)
courage and regeneration are nice ;)
my most recent game I currently have 1 champ and sov ... one is Defender and the other is Mage. Perhaps Warrior would become more attractive if it would allow you to duel wield single-handers and/or single hand a double handed weapon? (with proper penalties to the off-hand weapon of course-> unless its a dagger/below a certain weight threshold)
Alright, time for the next project .... bring in Toady for a Mathematically Simulationrific 'Dwarf Fortress' published edition. ;) -->especially with Adventurer mode ... gotta love adventurer mode. Hmm, if yall managed a halfway decent economic system, could even have an "empire" mode for human nations. (One world can hold many playthroughs, and each playthrough adds more to the game. Also death comes swif

Sounds like a very good community project. :) Take the helm momosa!
I found a feature really interesting in this game. That is the world system, one that is apparently in the MoM series. Basically, in addition to the current map that you have, you can adventure into other "worlds" (completely different map) generated for quests, monsters, etc. I think this would be a fantastic addition to fallen enchantress.
World systems ar
I hope/expect that the current flat-rate penalty is just a first approximation. Other games either give you was way to assimilate the populations of captured cities (Rome Total-War) or have more or less of a penalty depending on what the different races think of each other (MoM) or even have you replace the conquered population at the start (MoO & MoO2, iirc) or replace them later (AoW:SM). There are a lot of ways, but I don't
Is it a cheat to see everything though? Or just AI visibility? ( I would agree that either way, this could influence your own progress: takes a bit of the random/risk factor out of the equation)
I agree that having much more health for level 1 units is an excellent idea, Sean. Perhaps, even if not as something for everyone, we can incorporate that into a specific faction and/or unit type?
Reminds me of Demon's Souls where there is a separate Equipment encumberance and Item encumberance :D ( I am grateful that there is only an equip encumberance in elemental ;))

I would say however, that it is quite possible there is some type of "body snatcher element" to the big bad meanies in prometheus. (as opposed to just more Xenomorphs)
There is a difference between randomness that effects how you play a game and randomness that effects how well you play. Getting a 3/5 instead of a 5/3 is randomness that makes your experience different and allows you to try different strategies. Getting a 3/2 with no room for expansions is just a totally random handicap that you can do nothing about. It doesn't require you try out a new strategy you will simply do the normal strate
Hmm. Yea, I guess just having buildings be smaller (and losing certain details when appropriate for the shrinking of scale) might be enough. A single building, unless some great wonder, should not be a whole tile in size imho. (other than the city hub I guess)
Quests sound similar to "Senate Quests" in Rome total war. (ie generic 'take this city' quests with generic rewards of gold or units)
Speaking of Shadow Run RPGs ... it really makes me want a 40k 4X for some reason.
Can the Auto Resolve accurately model a board setting? I think modelling distance and space/time may be one of the hardest things to do, but I could be wrong. --> Meanwhile in Autoplay its fought on the board, so the issue doesn't come up
I am glad that Umber and Capitar are being "temporarily" cut for FE launch ... but maybe have them return for an expansion? I think Umber could have some really good lore behind it. Capitar I'm a bit more shaky on, but I believe that it can be done. Now that Magnar are slave-lord dinosaurs, and Trogs are Axe-lovin melee-tards ... every Fallen faction will be very different!! :) Dinosaurs, Wraiths, Humans, and Melee
I could agree with this. Civ V is a pretty fun game ... and while Civ IV inspires high level competitive play, Civ V does not. And yes, I've kept with Civ IV because of the mods as well :) FFH2 all the way! --------------- There are a couple teams that seem to be making some pretty nice fantasy mods for Civ V, and that's not even mentioning Warlock:Master of the Arcane (what, that isn&#

I agree for more visual controls on the unit designer. I want my Kraxis armies to use Nubian mercenaries ... and for my Capitar army to be mainly composed of mexican immigrants. ----------- But yea, skin color for different units might add a further element on unit distinction than simply "Different Card pose"
