Thanks for that. :) That was very interesting and it's nice to see that the AI is putting up a good fight. Also, the graphics still look really cool even if they are streamlined for testing purposes. ^^ Oh and... Very good stuff. It's nice to see the thought process going on with the AI development. Also, the game looks cool and I love the tactical combat animations. It looks very similar to MoM. [e digicons][/e]
It seems the character in the screenshot is standing on top of a mountain. Interesting... Glad the game is addicting. Sounds like it will be infectious too. :P
Wow. Thanks for that. The game is looking better and better. The cancer might turn out to be malignant if this keeps up. :P Can't wait for the beta. A little over a month to wait. [e digicons];P[/e]
Looks really good. [e digicons][/e]
Absolutely love it. I've always been a big nature fan so I've love to see these ideas make their way into the game. [e digicons]:bebi:[/e]
Great news. It nice to know that the developers are listening to the fans. [e digicons][/e] [e digicons][/e] [e digicons][/e] s are on me. [e digicons][/e]
I check in everyday to see if there is new info. :P The only other games I am remotely interested in are Torchlight II, Victoria II: A House Divided and Crusader Kings II. All these games will be out in 2012. :(

That is fricking awesome! [e digicons][/e]
Take your time and get it right. It's all good. Brad wants a 90+ game so keep reiterating until it's ready for the beta testers. Nice looking screenshots I must say. [e digicons][/e]
Apparently they released a second dev diary awhile ago. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xmjgmz_elemental-war-of-magic-fallen-enchantress-video-dev-diary-2_videogames and an interview by the Escapist. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xkz4h6_gdc-2011-fallen-enchantress-interview_shortfilms
Thanks for that. I hadn't seen the second video before. Good stuff from Derek and Jon.</p
Lol. Good catch. [e digicons][/e]
Thanks for that. The video was very cool.Especially considering it was Thanksgiving. Talk about dedicated. :P Love the idea of outposts. I do hope that you'll require a road or some kind of trade route to get the resources though. (Like Civ III ;)) That's one thing that I didn't like about Civilization 5. The magically teleporting resources when trading was done.
Nice video. Thanks for that and Happy Thanksgiving. [e digicons][/e]
Quoting Frogboy, reply 4The beta is going to roll out similarly to how WOM was done. Around Thanksgiving (and it'll be after it because no one wants to be on beta babysit watch during the 4 day weekend) the first phase will go out which will be to people who joined the earliest of the WOM betas. Soon after, it will expand to everyone who was part of the WOM beta process. Soon after that, it'll expand
Quoting Thormodr, reply 10Looks great. Substituting Wildlands for minor races sounds like a great idea. Also, the more variety the better. Can't wait for the beta. Getting a little giddy. The trick for us is to pull Paul (Mormegil) OFF of doing Wildlands to do other things. I walked by yesterday and he had just made the ruins of the Imperium complete with a functioning

4th in line I guess. [e digicons]x_x[/e] I bought my copy in September. Hopefully the Betas can keep us informed with AARs or something at least.
Frogboy - I really think you just need to bite the bullet and convoy your AI settlers. My preferred strategy is to always send a settler out with at least 1 guard unit. If it's a primo site I might even send 2 guards. Nothing worse than losing a settler & then seeing your opponent build a city right where you wanted to. And unless you're giving the AI an unfair advantage on new city 1st unit buil
