(1) FE has over 3 different types of loot: Sausage, Gold, or Sausage (2) FE supports both 640x480 resolution with 16 colors OR 320x200 with 256 colors (3) FE copy protection is that the player is always connected to our server playing ala remote desktop. So there is no code on your machine. (4) Relate to #3, max FPS is 10 frames per second. (5) Music is handled through an optional Ad Lib sound card.

Birthright! That was the name of the $%^&! game I couldn't remember. 'Twas very fun I recall. We had a group that played as one kingdom though. Worked out pretty well.

Pariden with their enchantment stacking reminds me of this: I have always loved Enchantress decks in MtG. I may have my favourite new faction. [e digicons]:inlove:[/e] Ma

2 great articles in one day. Even more remarkable, it's on a Sunday. You guys are awesome. [e digicons][/e] I really like the look of the UI and the number of spells looks very promising. More than 200 I'm sure. [e digicons]:inlove:[/e] Oh and Hymn of Torax made me smile. Great Magic the Gathering reference. [e digicons][/e]

Wow! This is great news. The factions look distinct, interesting and fun to play. Should really help with the replayability. Love the look of the game as well. [e digicons][/e]

If it's anywhere near as fun... [e digicons][/e] Great graphics by the way. The skeletal drake is awesome. [e digicons]:inlove:[/e]

Looks good and positively virulent. :P The UI for the character is much improved. I also like the tactical battle one. It's nice to hear that the modders will be able to go hog wild and that the game is 64 bit aware. Preparing for the upcoming plague. Seems like a good rando

Some more "wobble", as Cauldyth put it, would be nice. Also, where rivers meet the ocean needs to be addressed. I assume it's a placeholder until river delta graphics get finished though. Other than that, looking great. ^^ Especially love the look of the town and the monster lair graphics to the northwest of it.

Part 2 was very nice. The game seems like it will be challenging and the game looks great. I really liked the look of the Heal spell. The Earth Elemental looks awesome too. [e digicons]^_^[/e] I guess I'll wait and see on the open borders thing. Perhaps it will work out well. Liking everything else I see though. :)
One thing that is going to be interesting is that in FE, players can trespass in each other's territory. You can tell them to get out or you can go to war with them and vice versa.
That's one thing I always hated about Civ III was that the AI could trespass at will and it constantly sent streams of settlers through your territory to settle every little nook and cranny that you hadn't either settled o

Checking into things, I believe the Intel HD3000 card supports Pixel Shader 3. For example,PES 2012 (Pro evolution soccer 2012) requires pixel shader 3 and it says that Intel HD Graphics 2000 and 3000 cards support that. At least for the minimum system requirements. Can't guarantee it's a good game though. :P PES 2012 MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: OS: Windows XP SP3, Vista SP2, Windows 7 CPU: Intel Pentium IV

I just got an Asus Zenbook/Ultrabook last month so I hope it can run the game. It's got an Intel Core I7 with a 128gig SSD and 4 gigs of 1333Mhz ram. Intel 3000 for graphics however. I can run Paradox Interactive games very well as well as Torchlight. I'd love to be able to play E:FE on it as well as these are the only games I really care about these days. [e digicons][/e] Well, Civilization 4/Fall from Heaven as well. [e digicons]:inlove:[/e] &nb

In case you haven't seen it yet. The presentation is an hour long, but the second link has just the slides, if you want to browse through it faster: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJcuQQ1eWWI http://www.designer-notes.com/PlayingToLose.zip

Yes in case it Frogboy actually meant that the AI will gang up on the player and leave each other at relative peace, I really wish there's an option to turn this off and let the AI player play independently and actually try to win the game themselves. Otherwise the illusion of a single-player "multiplayer" game is gone.
Agreed. I hated Civ III for that. The AI would always band together and dog

I think that cut throat AI should be implemented for anything past normal difficulty. I am primarily a builder in these types of games and if I had to deal with Zerg rushes game after game I'd quit playing it. That way, I can enjoy my style on normal and people that like cut throat AI can enjoy it on the more challenging levels. Sounds fair to me.
