Poor Toby is always "others".
Well to be honest, I don't know who he is really. My first Stardock game was GalCiv II Ultimate Edition. I really haven't been around that long. However, judging by the positive reaction by people around here, he's another positive hire (or re-hire) by Stardock. Congrats Toby and I look forward to you and "others" contributing to making Elemental great as well. [e digicons]^_^[/e]
Personally, I like the Seattle Seahawks. Nice to see them sneak into the playoffs with the worst record in league history for a division winner. The Seattle Seahawks, ladies and gentlemen!! For the record, Thormodr said it first. Before their big win. Go Seattle!
Indeed. One of the biggest upsets in NFL playoff history and I believe the only time a team with a los

I find the best way to level up my characters is to research "Summon Familiar" ASAP. Then I can send my sovereign, Janusk and any other heroes out and beat up weaker monsters using the Familiar as fodder. I research heal and arcane blast or some other damaging spell after that. That helps get my characters to a decent level quickly.

But the experience was so unpleasent and fruitless that I've never thought of the 2k forums as anything more than a kindergarden when even CFC compares as collegiate. Then, prior to Civ5's release, 2k lizzy comes on CFC and says "yeah dudes, we are gamers just like you. We're all one, and I'ma gonna give you all the latest scoop cuz we're hoomies li

That in itself is not a big deal and frankly I don't care how he treats me. I do see him insulting everyone under the sun however. He has repeatedly trashed Brad, Stardock and Elemental. He has trashed Kael, Rhye, Sullla and other people I quite respect. After

Hopefully Shafer learned something from the experience. He's a young guy and I'm hoping he did and attributing his silence here to an NDA he probably had to sign on his way out of Firaxis. anyways peace out stardock I'll be on my merry way GOOD LUCK JONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you ask an AI guy what they think needs the most work they're going to say AI. If you has a UI guy what they think needs the most work, they'll say UI. I think people are going to be surprised at how radically the expansion is going to change the game.
That sou

I have to say that one of the most interesting tactical AND strategic portions of the original game was control of the Mana sources. You had to clear off whatever beasty that was inhabiting the mana source and THEN you had to use a spirit or a ghost to actually link the mana to your global mana pool. An opposing wizard could send a countl

You don't know whether they have alienated a significant amount of core fans (especially in relation to how many new fans they got). In fact surely by appealling to the casual gamer they have in fact opened up their market? You don't know that many others won't buy the DLC, you only know that you won't and

Gal Civ 2 in it's final state is an 8 out of 10 and you're saying that EWoM 1.2 is going to be as good as Gal Civ 2? No freakin way! As a point of reference, I'm suggesting Gal Civ 2 is an 8 based on games like Diablo 2, Civ IV, Starcraft, World of Warcraft, and others being better than Gal C

Therefore you cannot argue that CIV5 was and still is a commercial success. Just because some people don't like the game doesn't stop this from being true. And as for 'big game reviews', don't you find it strange that people only like reviews when they agree with them? Wouldn't it also be easy to argue that people are far more likely to submit a review themselves when t

Their big-name quarterback who dated two big-name singers got knocked out, and then even their second-string quarterback got injur
