Oh, it used to be worse than that (for all I know it still happens) You could lose the city, and then be given a given a battle screen as if you were the AI that first took the city. Extra fun if you had an unit of your own moving in to defend the city and arriving too late. Units would end outside, including militia. I have not seen it for a while, but then, I have not been in a four-way war for a while, either.
Chiming in: definitely not auto-turn. I never have it on and I still get overlapping messages. It really feels unpolished to have the camera move to a battle area, announce-and-choose-new-tech, level-up-a-city, and then do the battle. I know it's far too late now but Civ 5 has it much better: announcements pile up on the side, and you deal with them at your leisure. Battles that happen during enemy turns, of course, happen as you get attacked. Also, do all enemies move sim

One game Markin found a hammer that cast shrink on hit (or does he always have it? I only fought him once). Since he could take a hit no problem, he
I agree there should be some sort of "standard ordering" (hell, alphabetical is fine), but to order it yourself you can: click the spells, skills, or items menu on the right there's either a number (if it's on the bar) or an empty circle-star thing (if it isn't) click that, and you can select which slot it goes into Don't feel bad, it took me hundreds of turns before I realized you could even open up that menu, let alone custo

Relias had been doing very well and conquered Yithril, Gilden, much of Tarth and Magnar (before they surrendered), and so out-powered me a
Holding shift while selecting multiple units in a city, the mouse doesn't move smoothly
Don't mean to be negative but good lord can we get this fixed please. It's been a problem since WoM and it really makes the game feel like amateur hour.
A few dragon strategies are discussed here: https://forums.elementalgame.com/433565 Taking on more than one is tough with anything less than a late-game army. I am only able to do it by rotating out Knights of Asok or equivalent (chain mail armor and boar spears) and using lots of heals. Getting a shrink on is absolutely essential. So--good spellcaster and lots of mana! If you have magi (units with the cold staff, especially) those
While we're at it, can we have all the pathed armies move before your end of turn, a la Civ? It's really annoying to me to have to go around and manually move my pathed armies because they'll lose any leftover movement they have after completing their path that turn. I know there's no really good way to do it (don't want them to move at the beginning, because you may need to react), but honestly Civ 5 does it very well.
I also went through and cleared off every lair and cache, still no dice.
Save here: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/10090435/endgame.EleSav I believe the crash is very similar to this one: https://forums.elementalgame.com/433772 Two out of three times I got a CTD in the middle of this battle, right when one of the enemies was going to move. Notes: there are tons of units here--many recuperating champions, a couple troops, and city
I used three quest maps at once. One of the quests worked fine. The other two don't activate when I walk on them. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/10090435/Quest%20Not%20Activating.EleSav One is just next to Joffrey's Army, the other a bit north of Procipinee's. Also, when I went through the Namtur-thingy one item (the temple) didn't activate when I walked on it, just disappeared. A
Hmm... for my most serious war in the last game, I definitely needed two fortresses to pump out enough units to keep the battle going. When I finally got a third up and running it definitely turned the tide, among other things. I guess it depends on how you do it, but having at least two is nice so that you can keep units coming while one goes "offline" to upgrade it's armory and barracks after you get the next tech.
Whenever my pet storm dragon performs a sweep, there is a wait of about one second after he finishes wagging his tail, then he does a little bite and the damage is applied. Just figured it should get cleaned up. I don't know if other dragons do it--I've never seen a wild dragon do a sweep.
I gotta say the way the end of turn works is still sometimes pretty wonky. Maybe it's just because I'm used to Civ-like games where the enemies all take their turns sequentially, but the order of things really doesn't make sense. I hit end turn, the last of my units auto-move, then the enemies and beasties move, then I get techs and city-level-ups, then I get attacked by enemies...? And though I haven't sat down to document it explicitly, I swear it happens in different orders
Well, the idea was that you're being lured to your presumed death, so it's fitting that the item reward isn't all that great. Instead, the experience reward should be bigger IMO. It'd fit a bit better with the quest idea.
I disagree--it is, after all,
a dragon's hoard one who is most definitely greedy. If there's one thing a greedy dragon has, it's goodies.

My cities that have wildlands trophies don't have any way of showing it, unless I mouse over the growth stat and read the breakdown. An entry somewhere would be nice.
Relias cleared the scrapyard wildlands--I assume, because I was walking through them when they turned green. I didn't get an announcement--one would be nice.
I killed Morian the Ruin of Summer and his wildlands are still wild. When I killed the fire god those wildlands all became green and grassy. What gives? Wait... why do you automatically go conclave with high essence? I try to have one high-essence fortress for exactly that reason: so I can crank out good units with those bonus-per-essence enchants. What am I missing?
Agreed, but you'd have to limit it somehow. MoM had a hard limit of 6, right? I think that would be fine in FE, but another option would be something like increasing influence/mana costs based on number of existing heroes, etc.
Title basically says it all: when you get a unit from a camp (Knights of Asok, Dragon, etc, I guess ogres, darklings on the empire side) you should get a notification like you do when a unit is built. That is all.

This has happened in a couple places. Relias' heroes have been battered down time and again giving them lots of wounds, including several army-loses-hp. Things get wacky with city defenders--they have negative total HP and the health bars go wonky. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/10090435/HP%20Bug.EleSav Also, I recommend that the AI learn how to cycle out its terrible heroes and henchmen. When they have too many wounds they become a liability. I have to cut them a break on the c
