I voted terrible. I will explain myself here: During the Elemental War of Magic beta that I was involved in. I made many bug reports for some rather major issues. Many of those bugs are still present in the current incarnation 2 years later. Biggest one is crashing from loading games. If you save/load ~5 times in one session, the game will crash. It did the same thing 2 years ago in the Elemental beta. I reported it with crash dumps galore. Additionally,

Fallen Enchantress still has the same issues that the original Elemental: War of magic had 2 years ago. All of which were reported way back then. - Game states are not saved correctly. Loading saved games can have silly results. Besides crashing after about 5 loads (I presume it's the same memory leak I reported 2 years ago.) Not all quests have that ZOC however. For example: Silver Flute, Noble's Daughter/Son, Goose Chase. Nothing protects these from being spawned in enemy zoc. Why should the others get different treatment. (In either direction.) However, what happens when a quest of yours spawns next to an enemy resource that was built. Can you "Steal" the resource that was unlinked because now it's in your ZOC? That would seem like a reason to remove the ZOC itself. (Just thinking out loud for y

I decided to play a game with all the factions. I decided also to attack the Capitar faction. I went into tactical combat and learned that the intimidating trait is beyond ridiculous. As you can see if you load the save game, and declare war/attack carrodus to the south of my sov... In tactical combat you will be able to use the actions you start the combat with. In order for the patches to work for you you must: Make sure the game is patched correctly. Start a new game. Do not load a saved game. Uninstall all mods. (Reinstall any mods that have specifically been updated to the newest patch.) Even old sovereigns can cause issues if things were changed, so it's also a good idea to delete and recreate sovs. Same with custom factions. The bow problem was fixed in the fix that fixed the fixes. (It's fixed in 1.08.037). Dunno if the mana issue is fixed, haven't played enough since it went live. (And no change log to know if it was fixed or not...) Part of the issue is that impulse truncates the version to simply 1.08. The problem is that there has been three different 1.08 versions since Thursday...

Thursday was 1.08 and 1.08b (Multiplayer which was only obtained by showing pre releases). Friday was hotfix. I only know the beta version for that was 1.08b[b].092. Saturday was hotfix to fix the hotfix which is only for 1.08 and updates to 1.08.037. Here's the thing: On Thursday we were all at the brand new 1.08 patch. If you had prerelease options in impulse checked you had 1.08b[b].092 which was simply 1.08 with multiplayer. Then they hotfixed on Friday. I forget the version that put us at. Saturday they did yet another hotfix to fix the hotfix. However they did not add this hotfix to the multiplayer version. In one game I hired 9 copies of Vaenia and saw a few more enemy copies that I slaughtered. There needs to be either a vast amount of new champions, or simply less champions overall. (And for the love of god add more female champions...)
