I noticed that too. Arcane weapons seems to stick around a good long time, but it eventually went away. I cast it again, and judging from the fact that my attack value increased, it seems to have worked, but the enchantments window didn't show it (it did show the arcane defense spell that was still active).

I had just set my second city to building an Earth Shrine, and when I hit the space bar for the next turn, the game crashed. dump file is here.
Immediately after founding my first city, and getting the tutorial welcome from (I think) Janusk, I got the diplomacy dialog from one of the AI opponents greeting and warning me. I'm now at this point, with Janusk in view but no sign of any opponent: If I click on Janusk to try to hire him, I get the diplomacy window with an AI opponent, as if, perhaps, Janusk was already hired by the AI? But
I founded my first city, set it to build some improvements, then set a destination 2 tiles away for my sovereign to attack a spider drone. The tutorial character popped up right next to a big spider, and the game crashed. I'm wondering if it happened when the spider attacked the tutorial character. dump file is here.

My sovereign found a pair of patchwork greaves, so I went to the items menu and double clicked on them to equip them. The icon changed to show that they were equipped, and I could see that his defense had increased, but before I could do anything else the game crashed. dump file is here. debug.err is here.

A spider drone appeared close to my city. I moved my sovereign to attack it, but when it reached the tile where the spider was pictured, nothing happened. I happened to move the cursor over another tile nearby, and the info card for the spider appeared. So while it was pictured at the location where my sovereign is (it's hard to see in the screen shot, but there's actually a very small spider at his feet), the spider is actually where I've indicated in the screen shot:

Thanks for the tip, but even with the cloth map only option checked, when I load this saved game the music starts, and then the game hangs. Task manager shows Elemental using 100% of one of the processor cores (i.e. 13% of an 8 core processor), and I either have to kill it with task manager, or click a couple of times on it and get Windows to tell me it's not responding and do I want to cancel it.
The saved game from the above crash causes a hang when I try to load it. Here's the saved game.

One of their hired heroes was one tile away from counterattacking the town I'd taken, which was defended by my sovereign, a hired hero, and a pioneer. For the first time I was able to get far enough into a game to build a frigate. I moved a pioneer on board it, and moved down the shoreline a bit: Note that the frigate is selected and shows the pioneer on board. Ok, the unit that wouldn't show up as being trainable was armed with a shortbow. If I design other types of units, they do show up in the training window, so the problem seems to be that bowmen aren't trainable.
I've designed 2 new units, giving me a total of 5 that should show up in the training window. But it only shows me the first 4 unit types, with no way to expand the window or scroll through the types to get to my fifth unit type.

I built a garden in my capital. When zoomed in to the 3D map it doesn't show: but when zooming out to the cloth map it shows momentarily, but then fades out and is no longer visible. I managed to capture a screen shot before it faded out: I know it's really there because it's giving me food.
