One way to marry is to recruit a champion of the opposite sex, click to select them, and you should see a ring in the options. Click it to propose and marry. In previous betas you could also finish a quest to escort a lord or lady to your city and then it would prompt you to say if you wanted to marry them. I haven't hit that quest yet in 3A so I'm not sure that option is still available.

Yes, this has been reported a few times. It's like the leader of the stack is quoting his price, and you're not told how much the rest of the stack cost.
I've seen minor factions (new in this beta) do that, but not an empire or kingdom opponent.
Yeah, only folks actively following the beta would know this.
It's been changing as the beta goes along. In Beta 1 you always started next to a fertile land tile, and you were frequently in range of another food tile, like an orchard or bees. Then at one point we had gardens we could build even without fertile land. Now those gardens are gone but we're not back to always having fertile land nearby. I expect it will all get straightened out.
You can't get past level 1 without huts, and you can't build huts without food. So put your town near a food source and build a farm asap.
The dump files are in a different folder. See this thread for details.
I posted some tips on using Dropbox in this thread. Hope that helps.
The other thing is that when the game gets past the splash screen, it is a bright green blob and the sound seems like it is coming from an 80s video game (just some beeps)
That's probably the intentional "homage" to the original MoM.
Hmm. Teleport didn't work for me but blink did.
IMO, Empires are harder to play in Beta 3A. Offense is typically stronger, but none of the technologies that would seem to yield armor actually do so. Kinda sucks when your 27 attack sovereign gets killed because he's got 0 defense. Farming and housing also seem lacking compared to Kingdoms. Funnily enough, I seem to be able to play longer before crashing as Empire than as Kingdom. Give it a try if you haven't yet.
In Beta 1 we got random map generation, but Brad (or one of the other developers) turned it off at some point (I think Beta 2) to make it easier for the developers to debug problems, and since then everyone's been playing on basically the same set of maps. It'll be back later, don't worry.
I had just researched questing, and set my sovereign to travel to a quest hut. He moved (not yet reaching the hut) and this triggered the next turn. A message from Jurask popped up, but the game crashed at that point too quickly for me to tell what it was. Dump file is here.
It's a known issue, been around for several betas, at least since Beta 2, maybe before. But this forum moves so fast it's easy to miss things like that.
I just started (and crashed) a game as the Altar Kingdom faction, and the armor techs are still there and work, at least through cloth and leather armor.
I was able to reload the last autosave, and this time, before I was able to get to the enemy unit, it attacked the town (same one my sovereign had teleported to the last time) and the game then crashed. New dump file is here. Autosave file is here. In case it matters, the town we are fighting over is one t
That's been reported in one or two other threads, one here for instance . If you keep trying you might be able to get the game to load.
I attacked an enemy unit with my sovereign, was notified that I had lost and was teleported to my nearest town. and the game then crashed. Dump file is here.
There's a button there to learn the next spell level. I think that does the same thing.
I saw this also.
Have you tried turning off advanced lighting in the video options menu?
First: Were you playing as Empire or Kingdom? I think that with Empires, at least, this is bugged in .806, as researching teams and raiding parties does not allow you to train groups of units. I haven't tried that as a Kingdom yet, but it used to work in previous betas (although I think the Kingdom technology names are different). Second: Again, Kingdom or Empire? Playing as Empire, there are defensive technologies that you can research, but they don't seem to do any
Playing as an Empire faction, I sent pioneers to harvest an air, water, and fire shard. Afterwards, all 3 said they were now shrines rather than shards, but my kingdom report showed that I had no shards. This was, by the way, after researching shard harvesting. Two of them were outside my zone of control, but the third was inside. Or do shards now have to be contiguous with other town buildings in .806 like farms do?
I saw this also. I researched teams and raiding parties, but was only able to train one unit at a time.
I noticed that in my last game also. I was playing as an Empire faction, in case that's relevant.
I was wondering that also. In my case I never found any wild skaths, so I tried casting it on my party and on a town, and neither did anything.
