Lord Xia, I see the alien face for ddd888 and Zygwen, but not for you or RavenX. I suspect you were right to say they hadn't set up forum avatars.
Can the injuries a champion received after losing battle be removed?
Currently, they can be removed by using a potion that is sometimes available as a quest reward. There are suggestions elsewhere in the forum on other means that might be used, but we'll have to wait to see if any of those get implemented.
Lord Xia, that was great! [e digicons]k1[/e]
Qeustion: is it bug that or intended that when you get a new shard the bonus from buffs is not refreshed, but it remains the same as at the moment of casting.
That has been reported as a bug. I'm not sure whether the developers feel it is, but it has been reported.
We have always been here.
It is particularly annoying when they detour around the city by wading through rivers or sojourning in a forest.
Another bug that was reported was for Mercenary Camps. If I recall correctly, there is a tech requirement for that, but even with the tech researched and the camp built, no option to hire mercenaries ever shows up in the nearest town.
some (heavily emotional) stuff with Bells and woeful singing.
I'm thinking Thus Spoke Zarathustra or Ride of the Valkyries .
Some of them require a tech to be researched - Wildling camps, for instance. Others (like Drake Lairs) are bugged - it says you can't build on them but you actually can (click on the greyed out button anyway). Some are intended to be only for Kingdoms and others for Empires, but there are still a number of bugs in this area.
I've been able to build the great mill in several games. My most recent games have been on a medium map and not against all possible opponents, though. So if there's one faction that always races to build the Great Mill (like the Torians always seem to race for wonders in GC2), then it's possible I haven't had that faction in my games. Who is beating you to the Mill? Is it always the same faction?

Probably the same problem as in this post: https://forums.elementalgame.com/419391
Object Desktop 1.0 for OS/2, Gal Civ 1.0 for OS/2, and other StarDock software from that time
Wow, you've been around as long as I have! Welcome to FE.
Please see this post: https://forums.elementalgame.com/415301 It explains where the crash dump and the debug.err are found and how to report a problem. Also note that as of beta 0.86 crashes are automatically reported to Stardock, but the developers have requested that we continue to post them in the forums.
I agree with most if not all of the annoyances listed here. I'd add that the pathfinding seems to take great pleasure in moving diagonally into a river or forest when it could have moved straight and avoided the obstacle. It's bad enough that I'm now moving my armies one tile at a time, except when they are on roads.
Do not justify a spell with the horrible impulsive trait that really needs to be nerfed/removed
Keep your conclusions to yourself. I'm just stating the fact of how it works in .86.
It becomes much more useful if your sovereign or champion has the impulsive attribute, since that gives a double move at the start of combat.
Reported in 0.77, still exists. See https://forums.elementalgame.com/418003 Certain quests spawn monsters which are placed without regard to the terrain.
Q: What things can I do to improve my relations with other opponents other than crush them with my armies?
in 0.86 you can make economic, trade, non-aggression, and alliance treaties with them. These show up in the relations screen as improving your relation. Presumably there will be more options once diplomacy is developed further.
Thanks for documenting this. I was surprised last night when I carefully placed my spearmen out of range of the shrill lord, only for it to move farther than expected and kill almost all of them.
Yes, this has been reported several times, and there are several different quests that cause monsters to spawn in the ocean or on the tops of mountains. The funniest that happened in one of my games was fire elementals spawning in the ocean. They should have disappeared in a cloud of steam! Anyway, hopefully the developers have fixed it or at least it's on their list.
