I'm referring to the whole thing, not just the banning of the shirts. i mean the fact that things can get that out of hand and out of control. The banning of the shirts is one thing and should be something that needs to be addressed, but the fact that these kids are acting like prison inmates shows a complete lack of social control over the communities and population. These are the kids that will grow up and fill what is supposed to be responsible lives. But instead these schools, p

Ok this as an american bothers me considerably. i know a lot of you aren't american and don't really care either way. but what if it was in your country and your national flag was banned in schools? http://www.cnn.com/2014/02/27/justice/california-school-american-flag-shirts/ God i hate that state. it's a thorn and plague on the country. It hasn't always been but over th
Haven't really thought about it, the last two years have been to continue to stay a non-smoker. But i think now that would be just something to use so i wouldn't have to have a valid one :P But maybe i should with becoming healthier... since when i quit smoking i gain more weight then i want to admit :/
lol very creative :P

A dog can be a wonderful companion for a family with lots of enjoyment and love. There was plenty of good things given here. Don't give up on wanting another dog and getting one when you feel the time is right for you and your family. If you decide to ge
I'd like to thank everybody for there advice, time, and warnings, Yesterday after work i took the dog back to the shelter. It was my ignorance in thinking i could help the dog in the first place that lead me to this situation and i really don't think it would be a good idea to continue that thought process as it could lead to far more horrible things. I have learned a great deal in the process but the cost of learning what i have is high, it wasn't an easy choice or thing

[quote who="DaveBax" reply="8" id="3427738"] Quoting Matopicus, reply 7Yeah i understand it's time to let the dog go, i just feel bad since the idea was to save the dog Think of the Children first, so therefore the dog must go. You saved that dog. I'm sure there are many children friendly dogs available to save. Go get one. Remember your intentions were to save a dog. So you can still do that just not the first one you decided on. After 40 years
Yeah i understand it's time to let the dog go, i just feel bad since the idea was to save the dog and due to lack of knowledge we inadvertently signed his death certificate ourselves. we have another dog, we had him since he was a poppy (just a few months old), he's a lab/chow mix. we "trained" him the same way and we've never had any problems with him. But this is a completely different dog, we didn't get him when he was a puppy like we did with the lab/chow. So it
But yeah i know that this is something that i brought on and understand my error now. I'm looking to correct it if possible. If not than i have no choice and i'll need to take the dog down to the animal shelter were he'll most likely be put down.
Anybody know anything about dogs? About 6 months ago i found this lab/pit mix, beautiful dog at the local animal shelter. He was on the chopping block for the end of the month and was a year and a half old. So we grabbed him so he wouldn't be axed. The previous owner apparently knew a few things about dogs, the dog sits, speaks, lays down and stays about 10 feet from the front door when you enter until the door is closed. Turns out he totally LOVE

i love civ 5 and still play it from time to time, one of my favs. Although like Borg999 a guy here at work shares the exact same feeling. He bought it and after just 10 hours determined it felt to generic for him. I shocked as that wasn't the feeling i got from the game lol So it comes down to what you enjoy in a game, i have endless space but i hated the battle, i think i have like 4 hours in the game and that's it.
I don't know i guess i'm more like Raiddinn and prefer a more balanced approach. So my mages wearing leather isn't a problem. But i guess it all comes down to what you want in your mod. If you'd rather have mages look more like gandolph then force them to use robes or if you'd rather them look more like Flemeth from dragon age allow them to continue to use leather. If i was to force them into robes only i think i'd add a bonus to defense and ini
[quote who="Bellack" reply="42" id="3426419"] Not negative at all. I have messed with it and yes it is easier to deal with than other non-Mod tool methods but it is still kind of a pain. I modded AOW:SM a lot using the mod tools in game and it was easier than what we have here (at least it was for me but then I'm more of a visual person.) I guess my problem with it is that it is not fun to mod like AOW:SM is and some other games I've modded in th

I love Civ 5 and will continue to play it (on and off) till 6 comes out. I have over 1100 hours in that game and look forward to more. Fallen Enchantress although doesn't meet _your_ standards meets mine just fine. I think brad did a WONDERFUL job at making the game easy to
One thing to consider with civics is that i normally play on epic setting which means research for me takes considerably longer, so getting the additional tech from the start actually helps a lot as it gives me a good number turns advantage over the other players in terms of technology. Not to mention with it taking so much longer to research things my unrest (due to bell towers) is generally far lower than theirs during this time, meaning my production and income is more efficient during wha
Just remove it or rename it to "skilled" or something that fits your overall mod design. Then you aren't confined to trying to find something that fits the term heroic.
I know people who've purchased it and they love it. They played terraria also and as Illauna mentioned it is the same basic game. If you liked terraria you'll probably like star bound. But again to agree with Illuana if your looking for some ground breaking changes than it's not quite to that point yet. You do get a ship and you can fly around the galaxy (not literally fly it but navigate, click and warp type). Planets have different threat levels or something like that. to start
I don't know that adding a new slot for a trait would fit the description of "heroic" i mean thinking of the definition of the word " having the characteristics of a hero or heroine; very brave" There really isn't any direct relation to the game since we can't add personality and such. Just giving my troops an additional trait that increases my attack doesn't make me heroic in anyway. So with that in mind what effects would a heroic trait have in FE?
If your basing your Warrior Caste changes on the Samurai than beef up the attack since samurai are known for there ability with the Samurai sword. Meaning offensive statss (attack and accuracy) would fit. But you could look at early greek states and think of the Warrior Caste in a more defensive thing like the Phalanx, meaning you'd want to instead increase it's defensive stats (defense and hit points).
