LOL you didn't mean to be disrespectful? You come into a "thanks for your hard work" thread and start bashing the person and not once you ever thought it was disrespectful? Are you a westboro baptist?

This is why gamers can't have nice things... When someone from the company reaches out with explanations we crucify them as symbolic representatives of the flaws we perceive in the game (which might not even be real). The fact that Diablo 3 PC

I don't care if a game costs several million to make or if a game costs a few thousand to make. If i like the game i buy the game. However i will say that there are particular favorites, dragon age, xcom, civ, galCiv, FE are all my favorites and i'll gobble up anything that they produce. I will say though that mod-ability is a HUGE thing for me. A game doesn't have to have it but if it does then it goes a long long way for me. To be honest i love FE for the simple fa

i agree with a lot of the opinions here and disagree with others. But there seems to be a focus on by most of you (although not all) that the 2nd is to as printed protect us from our own government, which it is among other things. I have family in law enforcement i have a cousin who's a an office in moore Oklahoma and a cousin who's an officer in los angeles and one misconception of the police force in the US (probably other countries as well) is that they're there to prot

Sorry for the late reply. I've created a custom sov, he's tweeked as i am testing some things and would like to keep him. But when i go to play a game i always have to go in and make sure he's not in that list the cpu is going to play. So in short i'd like the ability for him to be select able for me to play when testing, but not available for the CPU to play. It's nothing major since i don't play different games to often. Just something that i th

I don't known how many seasons it takes me since it really varies. But when i get the first champion i make him a warrior and baby him, i sen him traveling and attack weak targets (i end up spending a lot of time running from stronger groups lol) that i believe i can kill, after 4 or 5 battles he levels up and than i choose my warrior line and repeat. i don't in the mean time i'm alternating my cities to build troops and buildings. So by the time the champion is either killed (sen

I seem to be having an issue where i can't get back to where i was. I had at one point played around enough with the monster lair settings in ElementalDefs.xml that i had a large abundance of monsters and lairs. So that the player had to fight for the land rather than killing one lair and having a chunk of land. Problem is i added a mod recently and it over wrote my elementaldifs file and i thought i had it backed up... but i didn't. So i'm trying to r

if memory serves i thought somebody created a few new classes. but there was something with the interface that presented some issues. You had to scroll down or something like that and there wasn't anything that indicated that there were more options to scroll down too. I forget the specifics. But they did create new classes and they worked perfectly fine if i'm not mistaken (outside of the UI confusion). You might want to look it up on either the steam workshop or nexusmods an
OK, so Windows 8 does not suit everyone but I think the main problem with it is that it is designed for a touchscreen computer or laptop. Mac have tried this in the past and Steve Jobs pointed out that it was not practical. The fact that people want a Start menu seems to back this fact up. It would be interesting to know how many people have or would want a touchscreen apart from the tablets.
Touch screen monitors were made to ma

honestly i'm completely against the UI changes Microsoft has made. they're trying to turn my PC into a tablet which it is not, but they don't care. But still W8 is basically W7 with a face lift and some annoying tiles. Remove the tiles and get a traditional desktop and you have what basically amounts to W7. but to remain on topic, No i don't think as much as it pains me to say, Linux will be making any strides because of microsofts UI choices. At least i don'

Go back to MMH6 then, keep an eye out for the next version of FE and see if the graphics of the next one meet your standards. I'm sorry i just find your wining a bit childish to be honest. I don't know what you expect to get out of the community on this. Maybe you should take up the keyboard and make the animations you want and add them to the game? The game has a great mod structure in place so you can hire that company your promoting and then just add the animations yourself

Personally i could go either way. i mean i love FE and i'll gobble up everything they put out for it. I like the game for the game, not for it's looks but for it's features and the great mod ability the game has. Some feats are not so obvious to all. But putting this together and connecting all the dots on a budget that is most likely well below half of an EA title for example is a feat. LH isn't the first in the series, it's the third. With each iteration the

I don't know i don't seem to have to many issues, make sure you give the right traits and give them swords and horses and i've been able to make them effective. Yes it sucks that they are heavily penalized for it and having to give up a trait for the armor on top of it all. But if you create a unit all around initiative get a champion with the command skill tree you can actually have a damn near unstoppable force.

I don't know that i would say that heroes using bows suck late game, but they aren't as effective as non-bow heroes that's for sure. I think having the ranger style tree would be a great addition. but stardock wont add it, your only hope for that is to mod it yourself or that one of the major modders will create the new tree.

3D printers will become more and more common as time goes on. If you think back people questioned weather or not computers would be wide spread as the common household didn't have a need for it and the cost was so high. But time changes everything, eventually the costs of 3D printers will drop and the cost of the material will drop to slightly more then a ream of paper. Sure you might not see a huge need for it right now, but i've had a regular printer sitting on my desk at home for y

I see what you mean, but i'm not convinced that those changes will make that much of a difference. i could be wrong but the chances of getting a rare from a chest isn't that great to begin with also removing "common" items from chest and having them always give an uncommon item instead of a random between common and uncommon seems like it will only make matters worse. But there is no telling exactly whats been done that isn't being listed. As a developer my
