im playing on hard and im leveling up my sovereign i close the game is lvl 9 and heroes 7 8 i think its a bit harder, 1 melee i have is very badly injured cause he died often and there was really no way to prevent it the feeling is better now, you need to think a bit, but not too much, you can still explore and adventure successfully just need to play careful cause its much less safe than b4 also the balance to monsters seem

im playing right now and my sovereign hardly got lvl 5 but its viable b4 i could too soon steamroll everything, now i lose some fight, and i few i dont even try there are more drops it seems, i saw more things for casters and a few new weapons i think still the main problem is ai weakness i just wonder with heroes and do quests/kill enemies leaving the cities TOTALLY unguarded beasts and neithe

mana system is quite balanced and working imo, MAYBE i would consider some combat mana limit based on champions stats maybe int or something like that, but in general is already working well

because regular units are not so weak, they are good, just too much easy to freefarm with heroes lead to very powerful early mid heroes while to get as good units you need a ton of research also i find research quite slow, even with 4 5 cities to get the highest tier of research takes really too long, basically it take the time your hero party can kill the whole world:D thats another problem heroes are self sufficient while army need resea

did anyone actually try higher diff settings? it seems slightly better i fought a irane very strong in the final battle for the capital she had 250 hp!!! very fucking hard to take down, she also came with many spellcasts buffs mainly and had a party of 6 heroes i had 4 very strong myself with the sovereign being epic they all had quite a high defense and i was doing not so much dmg and also she was dodging everything, the f

whatever nerf is fine, but i dont think whould be too huge there are other perks giving 3 stats, this is a rare so i think something like 1 stat for every 2 levels is ok it has to be strong, also when the real tuning and fix to ai and general balance hit the game it wont be so easy to free farm with champions (at least it should be so)

well once you have spells aoe everything change, a melee can only kill 1 unit at a time and still take a good dmg from multiple units dunno why they removed the counterattack, we so much discussed about it for wom and now its gone for no reason anyway i tried blizzard and few other spells adn they look powerful to me in few occasions when fighting multi mobs, much better than risking taking dmg from enemies but if you talk o
