I find it suspect when people state, "I was really happy about this game, but no MP so I now no longer care." What is up with that? If it is a great game why wouldn't you play it MP or not?
because single player is too easy for smart expert players? there is no challenge after a bit, ai can be competitive only cheating, we all know it so single players become borin
Multi-player is a zero-sum game. That means for every winner, there is a whiner (meaning loser or losers). In single-player, the AI doesn't mind losing.
That's because they don't have to worry about balancing every single faction, spell and item in the game and can instead allow for a more epic experience.
so your idea of epic single player experience is playing with unbalanced stuff? really? -____-
This will allow them to keep stuff in that would be consider OP in multiplayer. yeah all the above but i still think pioneers should cost much much more and takes a bit more time the problem is if you lose a pioneer in this game it means nothing at all losing a settler/worker on civ was quite heavy like it should

Also enjoy open sandbox games as multiplayer like MineCraft. But personally I would hate to play a long game like FE waiting for a bunch of people to have their turn. 100 dmg 20% crit 3x crits average 140 with 20 str average 168 with 20 dex average 160 so as you see dmg is very similar, also the assumption of 3x crit is not the max you can get, with max crit dmg (wich i repeat is out of control and should be fixed) dex is nearly as good as str also providing some def
just the usual solution math out how less accuracy it takes to have 2 wielding equal to 1 weapon + 20% dmg or so
someone with 40 dex would have 100% penetration then :D
im ofc talking about crit numbers, i got 200+ crits in some case and often more than 100, thats quite insane and out of control imo point is when you have a good weapon doing lets say 50 dmg and you already have 30 str 1 point more of str is just 2 % or so more dmg i dont know the exact numbers so i cant calculate how much dex does but since the HUGE difference between a normal attack and a crit it could be worth
thumbs up this is a serious problem and i wanted to make the same exact post while i love the ai having a "good" tactic of guerrilla sometimes it gets too boring to deal with my idea to solve the problem is much simpler: just reduce the movement to 1 for everything inside enemy territory so defenders can catch up much more easily and still i agree it would be cool to have some wall or similar to reduce

did you notice crits are out of control right now? crit is not bad at all since you can 1 shot most enemies and do consistent dmg to high armor monsters otherwise very long to kill i agree the scaling is a bit tuned down but SURELY not crit multiplier i was about to make a post about crit being definitely too strong and it need a nerf not a buff no initiative either, we discussed a lot about how initiative is t
