Thanks for all the debug.err files and specs, guys...this is obviously one of the big ones, so we're on the case
This is very welcome news! I don't mean to impose but could you describe what the problem is exactly and when we can (expect to) get back to playing again? Thank you very much for your time and support!
oh my... This could be very bad for the future of the game, and Stardock as a studio...
It is none the less amusing to consider there may be a connection between the two :D Perhaps the bill is just down for maintenetance? :P I like Stardock but that doesn't mean they are perfect, or should be so.

I was playing a large map with 4 AI's and it crashed as well. Latest patch was installed. ATI 10.7 (latest drivers!) HD 4800 GPU Vista 64 bit Intel i7 CPU 6 GB RAM (not enough!?) http://pastebin.ca/1925029

The latest ATI driver for 64 bit is Catalyst 10.7 People are still having crashes with it, the point is however that this only happens in Elemental. I haven't had a reported out of memory crash in any other game. It makes no sense to blame this on ATI and tell people to do a driver update because there is no driver to fix this! :(O

Same: http://pastebin.ca/1925029 Ati HD 4800 GPU + Catalyst 10.7 Vista 64 bit 6 GB RAM i7 CPU Elemental is the only game that has triggered an out of memory error for me. I don't think they should be putting this on ATI, there is something wrong with the game.

http://pastebin.ca/1925029 I have updated the drivers to the latest Catalyst version 10.7, as given through the AMD site. Still there is a lingering out of memory error. No other games have triggered this, only Elemental.

The hotfix does not fix memory allocation errors. (error: Out of Memory!) :pout: http://pastebin.ca/1925029

Why is this topic marked [Solution]? I've just had the same thing! And yes! My drivers ARE up to date, Latest patch as well. http://pastebin.ca/1925029 Core i7 CPU Ati 4800 HD GPU 6GB RAM Vista 64 bit This isn't resolved yet! Thanks in advance,

On another note: Yes I do I have the hotfix etc.. installed as well. Impulse reports there are no new updates. Also, I can't find whatever crash file the "how to report a problem" post refers to. There is none that I can find. Strange because it did crash. (?!)

What Happened: I was merily playing the 1.05 version when suddenly the game crashed and reported memory problems. System: Vista 64 bit Intel i7 CPU ATI HD4800 GPU 6GB RAM Drivers as mentioned in the post title are completely up to date (downloaded today just to be sure!) Catalyst 10.7 for 64 bit. The Debug File: Notice that it lists a memory allocation error at the end. (!?)
