Folks reading this Discussion Thread, who are interested in the Map Pack that Frogboy mentions here, (or folks who are militantly sure that they don't like the idea of a DLC Map Pack [e digicons]:typo:[/e] ) probably ought to check out Frogboy's new Discussion thread, where he mentions (among other things) that a "Gigantic" Anthys Map will be included in the $5 Map Pack; and that "mos

Just for the Record, for my part, I am not actually a meat brain. I am really a Silicon-based life form, and the natural inhabitant of a star system in the nebula that you Terrans identify as Messier 42 (M42). I just enjoy taking 20 year vacations, once every couple centuries or so, on this pretty little planet of yours. Incidentally, there is a dynamite little red-yellow planet in the Alpha Centauri system, tha
Thanks for the "FE Status Report at 2 weeks"! It was an interesting summary generally, whetted my appetite for new content further down the road, and the Sales Information is one of those things that especially interests me personally. (Incidently, I am assuming , by definition, that the 50,000 units are truly New Sales -- not the Freebies to WoM purchasers.) Congratulat
Well I think they need to address the AI free rushing and AI free champion recruitment bugs before releasing the patch. The existence of those mega-bugs makes playing the game a bit troublesome.
Good Point, Trojasmic ! On a serious note for a moment, those really are some Mega-Bugs; and they really do need to be fixed ASAP. Good Thread you started on the AI Rush Builds

The damn thing should at least be over 130 hours by now ... I want some p
Am I the only one who thinks the end game is the best part of the game? The initial battle is frustrating for a non-war monger, but the ability to quest between wars helps immensely in the end game. The master quest was relatively well done and pretty fun as an alternative to conquering all. Also wars are nice in that you dont need to mop up the last guys, just ask them to surrender and gain a badass champion to boot.
<span st

Interesting Post! I really enjoy creating Custom Sovereigns and Custom Factions; and I really enjoy thinking up, and writing down, the Back-stories for Sovereigns and Factions. (I have created back-stories for a Viking race, an Oz-like kingdom (complete with "Dorothy" as ruler), a modified Altar, a modifed Resoln led by a male oracle, and a race of humans that are totally swept up in a culture steeped in cavalry
This strikes me as a very good review (IMHO). I think it is incisive and well-written. It also appeals to me because it delivered a score (8.25) which I think is in the right ball-park. Personally, I would have leaned toward a slightly higher score, in upper half of the 8-9 point range -- but close enough! Better still, this is the first of the Critics' reviews to make it onto the Metacritic S
Frogboy, I apologize. I am going to remove my previous reply in this thread, because I can no longer find the information, that led me to my belief. It appears I may have been wrong.

Good Catch, Chibiabos ! ... I think you've found the first (real) professional review of FE. [ Edit: Well, semi-professional at least ... anyways, it has some good content and observations. ]

Beta tester Tip: Performance Improvement ... Actually there are a lot of things you can do on the "Options" Screen to alter/change/enhance your FE gaming experience.
