Already mentioned before. It was considerd for FE but was moved to the post release idee section. Derek said it will be considerd again for other expansions. And like Cruxador said, the main point was the AI, plus that non movable sqaures where hard to implement "good/nice". They didn't know if walls should give extra ranged defense or to block ranged completly. It was something in that line. Let's hope for schips and sieges for the next installment of Elemental! :D
Just want to say, thank you Brad for giving us small tidbits of information. Also please make the FE AI the best you ever made! (Okey, maybe that's asking to much.) You never made me give up hope on Elemental! :D

Wow, this is really awesome! The best part is that Leadanna's history is in first person. It sort of feels likes she spoke to me, I really makes her come alive. :D But then again, I'm afraid this game, and Leadanna, gives me aids. ;)

E:WoM has: -dynasties -population. E:FE has: -better tactical battles -more meaningfull magic -territories that have to be conquered with bosses that have to be beaten. -Less, but more meaningfull heroes that each has there own recruitment method. That's all that I can come up with for the moment.
I strongly support siege warfare. I realy have fond memories of the sieges in AoW 1 and AoW 2. The addition of walls and siege engines add a lot of dept to a tactical battle. My hope is that sieges are a secret addition to FE. Keal said that there is a lot of focus to combat, so maybe he already implemented it and just wants to suprise us. *crosses fingers & prays (for karma!)*
What about a weapon trait that allows the use of spears in one hand. ^^
I realy like points 6 and 8, and agree with the rest. These would add some real depth to the system.
If I'm correct, in FE, each kingdom and empire will have there own bonus. So a Trogg will get other bonuses than a Umber for example. But I don't know if these changes would be implemented in WoM... But for the original post, I agree that the kingdoms and empires should be more differse.
