Thanks Kalin. I had never done that before. I just started a game to check and noticed there is a little box that appears in the bottom left corner that mentions Ctrl+Tab but it quickly disappears. Nakisisa

Does anyone else want to be able to cast aid and summon boulder spells with champion casters? Sure aid is expensive compared to heal but ok if you don't have life II yet. Summon boulder would give us a low level damage spell that was not fire based. Nakisisa
I have gained some of these while logged in but I can not figure out how to view them. I did play for some time not logged in and figured that any gained then may not be recorded but I just retired from a game and got one and still can not find out how to view them
Is there anyway we can get 0 attack units and path of the mage characters added to the secondary area with the ranged units. Often with 4 units forming a T shape formation I end up with a no armour, low hp and even 0 attack path of the mage champion in the front rank while a heavy armoured, high HP and high attack path of the defender or warrior champion stands directly behind them. I tend to non essence = towns, essence = conclaves and one fortress on a reasonable material two plus essence site to make troops. I may throw down a fortress in a good choke point or on a boundary I am worried about but generally find that by the time they become any good the boundary has moved on. I like towns for their nation wide food increases and their bonus to unit hit points. Nakisisa
From the looks of the graphs it is Altar that is way in the lead. If he was completing a lot of quests he would get a high faction prestige which would increase his population growth. Do you have any save games you could post that people could look at? Nakisisa
I start my mage builds the base traits of life disciple(II), Brilliant, Discipline with Pariden. I team them up with a melee champion who does the fighting while the mage stands back and heals with the occasional attack from a position limiting return attacks. ie next to only one enemy while the rest are in combat with somebody else. Usually I find some sand golems, dogs or other such units to build up their army but some times I have to build a couple of spear-men units. <
I think the monster AI needs to be a little less "random" when it comes to lair guardians. The lair guardians need to stomp what sets them off and then return to their lair not wander around. The random wandering should be left for the monsters that spawn from the lairs. During the beta I watched on of my neighbors build a city near my border. A several turns later a dragon turned up and destroyed the city; hung around in the area for a while a
Play Tarth or make a custom faction with master scouts and stealth. Master scouts is a faction ability which gives no movement costs from terrain to the factions units. It also used to include the stealth ability which stopped the monsters from attacking the fractions units. Nakisisa
Snyder49 it makes sense if you think of it this way. I think I remember it right. The numbers stated on a tile shows the total of that tile and the eight surrounding tiles grain, materials and essence letting you know what a city built on that tile would get. They also put a limited the titles available to be settled to 2+ grain. Nakisisa
3. You can build a Stable on Wild Horses as soon as you bring them into your borders for +0.5 horses per season per stable. While you can build up the horse resource number you are unable to use it until you have researched Mounted Warfare. This allows you to add a horse to your trained units when you design them and to upgrade your stables to Ranches (+1 horse per season per ranch). Nakisisa
For my lastest game I decided to not to play sovereign concentrating on magic as I usually do and play Gilden instead. Since Gilden gets great hammers I used them for my melee troops. What I noticed was that I most likely would have been better off with swords at the same level. While hammers do more damage per hit, between their initiative penalty and weight they attack 2-3 times less often than a sword (with its initiative bonus and counter attack). I mad
I sometimes when I hit with Sculla's mace and kill with the shrinking blow I am left with the champion equipped with the mace selected but are not able to continue the combat with out auto-resolving it. Nakisisa
I cast blessing of restoration on a hero with Life I. On gaining life II I went to remove it, only to find that it was not on the enchantment list and it was not costing one mana per turn to maintain. Loading a previous save T cast the spell on a different hero and had the same bug. The same applies to Anointed by fire. Nakisisa
I noticed the same thing when I tried to reinstall off the first install package. I ended up having to install the first of each patch group to get it to work. I would suggest reinstalling with the latest installer or wait one day for the non-beta version. Nakisisa
So Jack and John have been friends for years even join the army together. During one battle Jack who has been beguiled takes a swing and due to the magic accidentally hit John. John looks to his friend and says "Jack as much as I like you having been friends for years you know the rules. Because I have a sword I must now hit you instead of saving my counter attack for that spider." Nakisisa
Not a good idea Dundoon but my current sovereign a pure mage has 57hp at 18th level that would be 1/6 of her hp's for some thing of little value. Nakisisa
Just tried removing the dagger from Arissa, Att 0 and lower initiative then Adant Verris and she was still in front. Nakisisa
Just had another fight with 4 units, 2 trained horsemen units, Adant Verris (9th lvl; path of the defender and warrior; att 26; 17 def) and Arissa (4th lvl; path of the mage;6 att,; 0 def) The layout was yet again the T shaped 2 horsemen and Arissa in the front and Advant Verris at the back. The only reason I can see why Arissa may have been put at the front is that her initiative is two higher than Advant Verris. Nakisisa
Did you open up one of the units information screen, I find that doing so causes queued messages to display. Nakisisa
Alkahoud a city I had conquered was building a High tower when I lost it. The high tower was transferred to Nireppea but kept it original build time of 48 turns. Nireppea can build a high tower in 6 turns. Watching it as I clicked next turn build time went 48-39-29-19-11-4-built. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/20620127/High%20tower.EleSav Nakisisa
If you click on a ones of the AI resources the blue doted line shows you the location of the city it is linked to. This occurs even if the city is in an area that you have not revealed yet. While it was nice to know that Gliden who had just declared war on me had no city near the outpost he had on one of my flanks, I believe that I should not be getting this info. Nakisisa
Sorry I do not believe its auto-turn at fault but the mutli-threaded nature of the game. I never play with auto-turn on and yet I see over lapping event messages regularly. You click end turn, a monster attacks; the attacked party moves and picks up an item; AI wants to trade; tactical combat starts for the attack; and then for extra fun open a unit info screen while in combat to resolve the rest of the messages; equip/trade items in the party; AI tradings with you (this
Only cast once. Nakisisa
I just had some explorers on automove attacked by an troll. Clicked auto resolve combat and they did their movement before dieing. Nakisisa
