Take a break from the Elemental universe. You've been working on it for many years now. You all sound a little burnt out on it. Take some time away and do a different game. This lets you regain your passion and enthusiasm, while letting your subconscious come up with some new stuff for a new Elemental style game down the track. So my suggestion is this : Let Kael loose on FFH3. Kael - You know you want to!

This problem still exists in 1.0. Very annoying. Just lost my units to it. - There needs to be a visual marker on the unit and the icon in the unit list to show they are in "explore" mode. - Any action on the players part needs to cancel explore. - There needs to be a "Cancel Orders" button on the unit to also cancel any prior commands.
OK, so we can counter magic cast by another player. BUT, we can't remove buffs/debuffs once cast (unless I'm missing something). Thus, we need two spells I think : - Dispel Magic - Attempts to remove buffs from enemies or debuffs from allies in Tactical or Strategic mode. Chance for resist as usual. - Disenchant Area - Attempts to remove enemies city enchantments. ie Enchanted Hammers. Lets get some wizard
Is there some legal reason why Civilization UI conventions are not used in Fallen Enchantress? Are they patented for example? I ask this, because Civ is the gold standard in 4x UI and has had 5 iterations now on its interface. Much of these should be blatantly ripped off if there is no legal impediment. For example : - My most desired UI feature is that in the upper left hand corner it show not only your income in Guildar, Rese
A small, but important polish for the UI is that the mouseover for units in the build queue needs to show how much wages they will cost when built. This is so I can, at a glance, cancel unit training if it will put me in the red.
Please, for the love of all that is holy, DO NOT nerf Juggernauts. They are fine as they are. Slow, powerful, very thematic. Other factions should get a boost rather than Juggernauts getting nerfed. Also, high initiative horse archers kick their butts. Edit: Yithril also don't get ranged units. The SINGLE biggest drawback to playing them. So the Juggernaut is there to make up for no archers.
Blood Sigil still causes tactical combat to hang. Clicking Auto-Resolve is the only way to continue. For steps on how to reproduce and a save game : please see this 0.992 bug report here . Edit: Also see this bug report.
I can confirm that this bug still exists in 1.0. Steps to reproduce : - Blood Sigil cast on city before monster attacks - Monster attacks - Sovereign automatically casts "Mass Berserk" - Sovereign picture changes to whither spell (a little pixie). - Whither won't cast on enemies - Must hit Auto-Resolve to exit battle
Log in to Steam. New Civ V update. Cool. Steam thinks about it for 2-3 secs then starts downloading. Enjoy hours of new gameplay. Log in to Impulse. New Elemental update. Cool. Impulse thinks about it for 5-10 mins then starts downloading. Lose interest and start surfing on the web. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Hopefully Gamestop can solve this problem. </ran
Very nice. It would be even nicer, however, if we could get some building that were taller. You know, like two-storey mansions, central castle that dwarfs the other buildings, with a tall keep. Wizards tower that really stands out. That kind of thing. Then our cities would truly look awesome!
Been playing some Oblivion as an Altmer Atronach to prepare for Skyrim later this year. Also been playing some Gal Civ 2 Dark Avatar (dont have Twilight). Got my arse handed to me by the Thalans in my last game. Nasty. Lego Star Wars 3: Clone Wars Co-op with my brother. Pretty cool. I like the planet missions. Could use an actual AI, however. The enemy never take your bases. So, I guess its kind of RTS Lite in that regard. Play

Cool thanks Bara
The favicon for forums.elementalgame.com is missing. Could someone copy over the favicon from the main www.elementalgame.com webpage? Pretty please :) I am sure I am not the only one who likes to have all the nice shiny icons in my bookmarks folders.
I would like the Sovereign and the Spouse to be a different colour square on the left hand side pane. Currently all units are red squares and buildings blue squares (or is it the other way round?). Anyhow, I think the Soveriegn should be say green and the Spouse yellow. All heroes should be purple or make the colours user definable. This way I can tell where my heroes and Sovereign are at a glance.
I agree. And I even mentioned it back in November last year. Hopefully this will be sorted out during Fallen Enchantress and then back ported to EWoM.
So I decided to try out the new 1.19d beta. Haven't played in awhile. My goal was to test out the new spellcasting selection. Short story is - does not work. Long version: - 1 - Had Procipinee and a few heroes in capital. Tried casting Arcane Weapon on the city square. It comes up with a blank selection screen. - 2 - Moved Procipinee and Janusk out of the capital. Tried again.

What is your experience, please. Thanks again mattason.
Here is a link to Revo Uninstaller . Ignore the professional version - unless you pay for it yo
Fact of the matter is, Micro$oft are the ones to blame for more computers not being 64 bit. Just about all computers in people's homes these days have 64 bit processors, but MS dithered in pushing out 64 bit OSs and allowed tons and tons of systems with 64 bit procs to ship preloaded with 32 bit OS.
Yep. My comp is AMD 64 X2 Dual Core 4200+ 2.20 GHz with 2GB ram. Why only 2GB? At the time it was preloaded
Just run across this in my current game. I had some godly powerful end game unit that was a squad of 8. Wither one shotted it. NOT HAPPY. Going through the 1.19->1.19a->1.19b changelogs I see this is still not fixed. So BUMP!
Step 1 - Download the 445MB Full version of 2.92 Latest version Step 2 - Extract the .rar - It contains the "Rise of Mankind" directory Step 3 - Copy the "Rise of Mankind" directory to c:\Blah Blah\Sid Meier's Civilization 4 Complete\Beyond the Sword\Mods Where Blah Blah is Usually "Program Files" or some such. Run Civ IV and choose to play Rise of Mankind
Indeed, although I have no idea how naval combat would work.
Go to a tactical map that has water in it! Then you can have cannons firing, and boarding planks for when the ships are next to each other. Then let your pirates do their thing. Haarrr Haaarrr!
[e digicons]k1[/e] Hopefully Cephalo can convince (force) the Elemental team to make the maps awesome. Check out his recent threads on true 3D terrain. I hope Fallen Enchantress really blows us all away with its magnificence! I want: - bandit camps spawning streams of pillagers - ocean trading with distant factions and your trading ships getting swallowed by nefarious ocean dwellers - pirates that patrol the waters and send ashore ra
