[1.19d]Spell casting selection not working properly

So I decided to try out the new 1.19d beta.  Haven't played in awhile.  My goal was to test out the new spellcasting selection.

Short story is - does not work.

Long version:

- 1 - Had Procipinee and a few heroes in capital.  Tried casting Arcane Weapon on the city square.  It comes up with a blank selection screen.

- 2 - Moved Procipinee and Janusk out of the capital.  Tried again.  This time selection screen came up as expected.  I chose Procipinee.  Spell worked as advertised.

- 3 - Tried casting again to beef up Janusk.  No spell selection screen.  The spell is automatically assigned to Procipinee.  So now Procipinee has Arcane Weapon on twice.

- 4 - Went to Ledger.  Disable second Arcane Weapon.  Tried casting again using Procipinee and then selected Janusk in the little round coin picture.  Spell casts automatically - no selection screen.  Procipinee again has 2 Arcane Weapons on her.  Major problem is that the game registers that the spell was cast by Janusk!  This is impossible since he is not imbued.

- 5 - Dispelled both Arcane Weapons and tried casting again.  Spell selection window comes up as expected.

So, several problems still with spell selection.

Just to clarify point 4 above:

- Start casting a spell with your Sovereign - by first selecting the round coin and then clicking the Cast Spell button.

- Select Spell, in this case Arcane Weapon

- When wand pointer is active, select a hero's coin in the same square, in this case Janusk

- Choose target of spell in selection window.  In this case Procipinee.

- Ledger will now report that Janusk has cast the spell and his enchantment tab will show the spell being maintained.

Final problem:

- Whenever Arcane Weapon is cast on a hero, the stats on their portrait DO NOT update until you deselect all units, click on a different square, and then click back on the hero again.  The portrait stats SHOULD update instantly when the spell is cast.

Well thats my report for now.

Edit: For clarity.

Yes, this definitely needs to be fixed.  It's no good if the "select a unit for spell" feature is not working as it should, as it's pretty much a given that a feature like this exists (and works) in games with stacks.

Best regards,
Steven.
