The Cloth Map Only option is bugged in that the game sometimes reverts back to showing the terrain when leaving the options screen. To Reproduce: 1) Zoom out to Cloth Map 2) Hit ESC and check the "Cloth Map Only" checkbox under the "Gameplay" Tab 3) Click "Back to Game" button 4) Notice that game stays in cloth map when zooming in - fine up until now 5) Hit ESC again 6) Click "Back to Game" button again 7) Notice t
But please... FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS WAR AND MAGIC. please create a shortcut for the equip screen. It can't be that hard to do.
In my first post on this forum this was the exact thing I requested. Please make "E" the Hotkey for the equipment screen! Or at least make it user definable somewhere.

I can confirm this. When you have a child, at some point the baby picture overlaps the sovereign instead of being down in the tree. Other children appear in the tree just fine. Maybe we should get a screenshot next time it happens. Edit: Version 1.09e

I like the way cities grow outwards using up tiles. What I would like to see is a relaxation of the minimum distance between cities. By this, I mean that you can only found new cities 5 or more tiles away from existing cities, but I want cities to be able to grow towards each other, and sometimes, merge into one huge metropolis like what happens in real life. At this point, give the option "Are you sure you wish to merge these cities?" before placing an adjo
Since Elemental is going with Python and not Lua, I would ask whether the devs are going to consider all the work Google is doing with the Unladen Swallow Project. We all know how slow FFH can be on huge maps with all that Python code in Civ IV. Would be nice to use the latest and greatest version of Python to get the best possible speeds for large mods. Reading up on the Python forums it seems that Unladen Swallow in fact might be being merged into the default CPython bui

That will allow more significant mods, and thus draw in a larger crowd.
Basically this thread made me step back and think about how much Stardock has fixed the game in the last month. Kind of like watching a kid grow up, you don't really appreciate how much they've grown when you're around them all the time, but when someone points it out it hits you all at once.
Thanks for the reply. I have been watching the saga from the very beginning and I agree that the game has come a l
Us over in Aussieland (that's Australia for the uninitiated) just recently got our hands on the game. So I am playing from scratch on version 1.09. I skipped all the drama [e digicons][/e] Anyhow, seeing as I have a new perspective having only just started playing I thought that I would post my initial observations about the game while they are still fresh. Firstly, I have to say that I like the game and think that it has great potential.&nb
