There are loads of threads like this so i doubt a dev will answer so i'll answer for you. 1. The A.I is more then competent in the gold version but will also get improved again in the 0day patch. A.I has never been a problem in stardock games so i wouldn't worry about this. 2. Us Beta testers weeded out most of the bugs that we encountered and I expect the team played the hell out of the beta 5 and gold version before they sent it to the reviewers so again

I never even botheed to go through any of Gal Civ 2's campaigns and its one of my games ever. I want to see what Stardock do with the lore but i just want to do my own thing not follow a restrictive campaign so 8hrs seems about right to me.

I am buying this game purly for SP, i had planned to try MP out aswell as it is there but no tactical battles takes half the fun out of the game for me so i'll be sticking to SP. However i hope this can be resolved sometime in the near future for the sake of gamers who want to create and play multiplayer mods with tactical battles. No one is going to want to invest time into new models, spells etc for a multiplayer mod if they are not even going to get to see them in tac battles.

Thats a good idea, but maybe just a spell not a whole book that could be very unbalanced.

Some quests in the beta did give you a spell. not sure if it was random as i acquired several spells this way. I doubt you will be able to capture eniemy spellbooks on release though.

Yes, Brad already said so in the Destiny Embers thread. Though In the event they mess it up and forget to add the code to the kindle version some how i am sure stardock team will be able to run a buyer verification system and issue replacement codes.
