Hmmmm since the some of the DE characters lack magic due to canon, they should have added a few special abilities. I'm modding Nym to have a few creature abilities like furious strike. There are several abilites that these characters could have got to make them more useful and maintain canon. I'm not complaining though [e digicons]O:)[/e] , thanks Stardock & Random house, you rock! ... just had a thought, i suppose the characters have set abilities because they are going to

True your kingdom should be approached by heroes from time to time and be able to get some though quests. Elemental is missing alot of soul IMO, its like Lego, you can do so much with it but at the moment its just a bunch of half constructed bricks.

Conquest - Maybe killing Sov's should force them into stasis for maybe 100 turns to be reborn, this way their kingdom doesn't die but Sov's still can't be thrown into battle without fear of death as death could fatally cripple the kingdom. Diplomatic - unfourtunatly this is how it works in real life more or less, big army & massed resources = Allience or treaties. Almost every 4X game i've played works the same way. So it looks like the first expansion in late November is the one to refresh the game with new stuff. I was hoping this would happen with 1.1 but hell 3 months is the fasted expansion i've seen for a game. Good luck and keep up the good work.

So far since the beta nothing has really come on time, its either early (beta 3c to 4 was a great suprise) or late so i wouldn't take the release dates of patches and updates too seriously. The last thing we need is the dev's rushing anything so i am happy to wait. I'm actually waiting for 1.1 before i play a proper game again which i guess will be sometime in early october. Until then i'm just testing community & personal mods while getting use to the XML files so when

Lol, i just increased the spawn rate of the tiles. All the mods are unbalancing my game but without them its very boring now i've seen and done everything. Id really like to be able to have a Lycan mod with transforming/morphing units, so mabe some kind of mod that makes certain channelers be able to transform into summons like Man to dragon, man to wolf, man to frogboy etc [e digicons]:frogboy:[/e] . Best 4x game since Civ 1 IMO. Never played the campaigns but the sandbox mode is perfection. You can also d/l quite a few mods and profile pics for custion races/ships etc. Great game. BTW you might beable to find the hardcopy alot cheaper if you look on Amazon, i got mine brand new for £9.00 (about $14) a couple years back.

Love battletech, not sure how it would work with elementals magic system though. Sub spells for armaments maybe? Missle barrage, strafing run etc?
