They should make it open to everyone via impulse, i believe everyone who brought the game so far has more or less been beta testing all this time anyway. Alouth i've been here since beta 3 I think everyone deserves a chance to playtest and have their say on 1.1.

Back on topic, yes the group catapults are OP and don't make sense. I'm currently doing a massive map with about 8 factions left out of 20 around turn 450. AI has mostly resorted to mainly using mega catapults since they have 100 attack and 525-950 health. They never ever miss and have long range so heroes are goners if they come up against them. First off catapults shouldnt have that much health or take that long to kill, and why doesnt my fire spells do

Yeah i got the same thing, had a creature hero with my sov's looks called "Prince of Silver Drake" (Custom Faction). Not sure how this is being caused but hopefully the dev's already know about it.

I've been playing Syndicate wars & Elven Legacy Collection while Elemental gets sorted out, i highly recommend both.
First one was classic imo, second one was cool but didnt seem as gripping to me.

Content, content, content, I saw everything the game had to offer by my second play through. More monsters, interaction, quests everything. I am really hoping 1.1 offers something new other then rebalancing and a new magic system. Its pretty bare bones and soul less at times which is why alot of people are bored. The techtree is always the same and you can max it in no time so even if you wanted to try a different way to play its not going to be much different from the last time you did.
Most of these features need a slider Monster spawn Resources Heroes Hostile heroes Think Civ 2, almost everything was adjustable so the worlds were how we wanted them to be.
