I'm still having problems identifying opponents. The colors aren't distinct enough, and the border outlines on the map don't match the color swatches enough for me to identify them quickly, if at all. Also, the names and the logos (shields?) don't connect without looking them up. What I think would help with this, and wouldn't be too hard to do I imagine, would be if there was a small copy of the logo (shield) for the opponent in the faction power chart.&

There was an old bug, which I thought was fixed, that had to do with Trade and Equip to a character that wasn't allowed to equip the item in question. In this case the fix was just disabling the button.
I think that the high prices of regular equipment solved several problems from a game design perspective. For one thing, it made common loot more valuable. When you quest early, and find a pair of leather bracers, you're actually happy. For another thing, there was a quite serious problem in earlier versions where all your heroes started to look exactly the same. This was at least partly because they were all equipped with the best equipment that was available in t
Nissan Leaf. Best car I've ever had!
In general that message is not terribly useful. There is no action that you can take, and it doesn't influence your relationship with the AI who is sending the message. For that message to be useful, there should be some action you can take in response, otherwise it should just be one of the +1's on the relationship screen, and not a message at all.
I noticed both these issues as well. With regard to the trade window, it seems to be at a different height each time, perhaps based on where the cursor was, and it sometimes overlaps the trade value total, and sometimes not. This makes it so you have to rely on the text as to whether or not they will accept the deal.
I have to confess, this one really annoyed me when I was playing my last game. I really am enjoying the game, but having to micromanage exactly where an army leaves a city by clicking on the exact exit square instead of clicking on the road down the road a ways really got tiring.
Derek already said he had fixed this for 1.0.3. (The next patch.)
Just bumping this, as people are still posting about this problem in 1.0.2.
This is an old bug. It goes back to WOM. It's not just two stacks moving at the same time, it also applies to other notifications that happen at the beginning of the turn. They often happen out of sequence with one dialog from one event mixed in between other dialogs from other events. It's been reported many times. Maybe if we came up with a save where you could click end of turn, and the next turn showed the out of sequence dialogs this might help the develop
'This sword I carry was a gift to my people long, long ago, in the time before this one.' He's carrying an axe. The description is very specific about the sword. It should have some kind of cold damage. Also, why do all the champions have magic paths? I wouldn't mind at all if there were some fighter only champions, without any magic traits.
This guy seems kind of inconsistent. 'I ws raised to the sword, youngling. I killed from the nursery; there were none fit to play with me then, or now. I spare you the blade if you pay my price. I make your enemies mine. I kill for your glory, and my pleasure.' Thats fine, good write up. I then expect a bad ass sword wielding fighter that no one can beat. Imagine my surprise when he has the following traits; Evoker, Death Disciple, F
In my current game, I have one city where I can buy warhorses (White horses). I think it's got a ranch within the city wall like Tuidjy describes.
Derek seems to be fixing things right now. Maybe he will see this one.
Still a problem in 1.0.2 Each time I am attacked when I have Blood Sigil up, combat hangs. It seems to be expecting me to select a target for the Wither spell, but no units are selectable.
Stilll present in 1.0.1. Just ran into this in my current game. It's annoying, and I would think easy to fix.
Several people reporting this fairly serious bug. It would be nice to get some kind of developer response.
Yet another report of what looks like the same bug: https://forums.elementalgame.com/436500
Getting more then one report of this problem. See here: https://forums.elementalgame.com/436446
Just had to deal with a dragon in my game. They are hard, but the really big issue is that they injure themselves with their own breath. Quite badly. This was the only reason I was able to beat it. If this one thing was fixed, I think that dragons would be quite difficult enough.
Not sure how useful this report is going to be, as I can't produce a useful save, but it's a rather serious bug, so I thought I should report it. Here's what happened: I was attacking a city with a champion and a bunch of troops. The champion fell, but the troops prevailed and took the city. I got the message about the champion getting an injury, and being put into another city to recover. After clicking OK on the message, I looked at the city I h
When you step into a new wild land, there is a pretty screen that appears with a description of the wildland. I am actually quite a fast reader, but I find myself, perhaps because I am admiring the screen, not being able to read the text that appears before the screen disappears. My first suggestion would be to make this screen stay up until the user clicks, but if you don't do that at least it should stay up for a little longer.
Are you guys missing that Derek said thanks and that it was fixed after 1.0.1 was already live? So of course, it won't be fiixed until 1.0.2.
I'm still seeing this in the 1.004 beta version.
Very cool. Nakor, you need to get a stardock sig.
