Quoting KellenDunk, reply 50 You do realize that cities are actually the highest rank for a settlement, right? Your argument loses all sense when you replace "City" with "outpost" Since one of the proposals to fix the problem was outposts incapable of growing into cities, I believe everybody does understand the terminology. The entire objection people have is the idea that some backwater mining settlement
I actually find the whole resources in cities bit to be really annoying. Really, who builds a city on a mine, or a farm? The miners and farmers might live in the city, but the mines and farms are on the outskirts, not main street.
Note: Units that are set as a city's 'governor' would still be able to explrore and adventure. The difference is that hero units more inclided for domestic use (with a higher 'Governing' stat) would also have inherent traits that give bonuses to the city they're stationed in (boost o production, training times, etc). So cities that don't have their governor present will not be producing at their max ability.
This metho
Horteka (Skies of Arcadia) Mostly memorable for the music, but the unusual verticality of the area was interesting and fun to run around in. Esperanza (Skies of Arcadia) A poverty-stricken outpost long ago abandoned by the nation that built it. The rusty metal, blood-red skies, and cheap prefab architecture really reinforce the general atmosphere of despair.
I'm trying to remember w
Quoting Jalicos, reply 47Um, Hackbar, you do know where Stardock is located, right? Your "rabid fanbase" wouldn't make it ten feet before the guys with the pitchforks decide they'd rather be the guys with the fire, and the guys with the fire start wishing they'd picked something pointier to defend themselves with. Except for those of us from Colorado. We'd laugh at all of the rabid fans who didn't think to be prepared. (I'm sure
I like it. Fits the pseudo art deco feel of the game. My only thoughts would be to flip the art. Since we read left to right, psychologically we associate with the future to the right and the past to the left. So right now it feels like she's reflecting on the past instead of planning future conquest. Also the sun feels like a sun set. Bumping up the saturation on the yellows n light blues will make it feel a bit

I love the idea of the geometric border, much like Mucha was famous for. Although I think the picture portrays a powerful person ruling over a vast territory (you can see the territory and he has a pet dragon!) Perhaps that the actual image chosen has met with such resistance suggests that I am wrong.

I wonder, however, if you are aware of how your company is being represented by one of its own. If you could spare a moment to read over, and perhaps post a reply in, this thread (http://forums.impulsedriven.com/375563 ) in the Impulse forums, I think it would mean a great deal to the community. Pg 91 from players handbook "Paladins are not granted their powers directly by their deity, but instead through carious rites performed when they first become paladins. Most of these rights involve days of prayer, vigils, tests and trials, and ritual purification followed by a knighting ceremony, but each faith has its own methods. This ceremony of investiture gives a paladin the power to wield divine powers. Once initiated, the paladin is a paladin forevermore. &nbs
