War Dogs would be cool. Not too sure on them shooting stuff though. Maybe fire breathing war dogs?

There IS a display IN the "Your City Has Leveled Up". When you read the text below it, it names the city that leveled up in the paragraph.
Quoting Raven X, reply 29 I've seen Frogboy mention a "pooled mana source" and I'm not sure how I'd like that but I'm waiting for him to give more details on it before I make any judgments on it. I think it could damage the worth of individual champions though. That's one of the things I was thinking of when I referred to "dumbing down the magic system." However, Frogboy said in
Now THAT is more like it Gravedancer :)
Nice work looks great. Would it be possible for you to make a new Thread and link all your skins? For a bit easier time seeing whats new and updated on other skins?
I'll be doing that when Dhuran and I finish Undead Rising 2.0 my friend. Great Idea :) thanks.
The main thing I'm worried about is dumbing down the magic system. I'd rather see a more complex system, if anything. Another thing I wanted to bring up is people talking about the magic system being "weak." I think that has to do with most people using tactical battles, and the fact that shards currently aren't working correctly for spells in them. If the shard issue was fixed, and the damage calculation was changed so it wasn't 0-x,
Seriously though, I DO think there should be "some" some-what scantily clad females, And males with their shirts off with bulging biceps. Did you guys see the Urxen skin I did? Did you notice that I posted a pic of him with no armor up top and I skinned his entire chest and back? Notice the rippling muscles and hair? Even though they are a monster race I wanted them to look cool and powerful, and to a female, maybe even attractive. Is that "realistic" though? Should I expect every male member

I have enjoyed some of it, but there are areas where it seems it wasn't finished. Now, if "fanboys" like us beta testers are raising questions, what is the casual gamer, who doesn't come
I believe he was referring to AI decision complexity, and that the AI currently is looking at problems in a more complex way than is necessary (n^2). Refer to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_O_notation for more information on the specific type of 'complexity' that Brad is referring to. It's a technical term used differently in a mathematical / comp. sci. setting. He's not talking about the complexity of
cant you just put the gfx folder (with the subfolders intact) in the Mods folder? For easy organization and keepin track of whats new and whats vanilla? Oh also, i hereby formally request all excellent modders such as yourself, to NEVER use depositfiles.com Use http://www.filefront.com/upload.php, no 1 minute countdown, just instant download
I'll have to add a new Filefront link when I do version 2.0 . I do
Indeed. I Second this request. As a Modder this would be EXTREMELY helpful. Not to mention Dhuran here is my top Dragonlance Coder and if he needs a tool to make the work go better, I need to make sure he gets it. :)
Can it work with Blender by change? That's what my modelers are using atm.
I'm just a big Dragonlance fan so I'm really looking forward to seeing the mod. If there is any little thing I can do to see it come to life, I'll do it. I'm not sure if scanning some images really qualifies me to be in the credits but I'll leave that for you to decide. It's your baby.
It would depend on how many of the game-play design aspects from the info you gave me I actually use in the game. It's not
Confusing, overly-complicated UI and gameplay are closely related - that is to say, bad UI makes the gameplay seem more confusing than it'd otherwise be. Like the combat mechanics, specifically as they apply to squads: you might call this aspect of the gameplay complicated, and maybe it is, or maybe it's simple and intuitive. The problem is, we don't know, the UI ain't telling us. The UI is not just obstructive and uninformative, it's actively misl
This post seems a bit unnecessary, seeing as how pretty much everything everyone is asking for is more depth and complexity. I think you are reading too much into his statement - the complexity that needs to be addressed is more related to the lack of information and cleaning up clutter, imho.
If that's true, I'd be very happy. Look, I've been a regular posting here for two years now, I've seen how thing
I have to agree here. Complexity is not a problem. In fact, in my opinions, it needs more added - not necessarily more complexity, but more flavoring. For example, more buildings. (I would like to see a building available for each resource at each level, so that a town that focuses on a resource has a reason to grow.) What needs to be fixed is the combat system. Right now, early game combat is ok, but late game combat is hosed. Champio
That's good stuff, chief. I thought the drama was a bit over-blown to tell you the truth. And honestly, I don't see how you could Not be pissed at some of the sites that Did flat out Lie about some of the flaws in Elemental "like missing buttons" that Are There in the UI if you open your eyes and look. I salute your dedication to your game making. Please, read my post Here: https://forums.elementalgame.com/395491 . Some of us
I was having a talk this evening with Admiral100, one of my Dragonlance Mod team mates, and we were discussing what would become of the game's core mechanics and what little information we've been able to gleam about it on the forums. In a latest Dev Journal Frogboy mentions certain "complexities" that need to be addressed and this really makes a few of us who actually LIKE the Game-Play in the current game to worry. Here's a direct Copy/Paste of part of our conversation, I'm Seerus Storytell
What's next? Force me to release my elven rece mod? Create a dark elf version of such mod? Create some "civilized" orcs based on the Urxen?
Hey, at least I already made the skin for you ;)
I'm quite sure that Raven is on it for Dragonlance but his bias to undead has taken the best of him.
Undead get precedence because they are my favorite fantasy race and something the game lacks worse than Elves :P
This is probably the best UI Suggestion change I've seen posted so far. I like that look better than current honestly. It gets rid of all that side screen clutter.
Ok, I am done with all the scanning. I gave you everything so you can get a good feel for it even though some is probably pretty useless to you. I put it in dropbox, let me know if you have any issues with it. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8962259/DragonLance%20Scans/DragonLance%20Scans.zip
Thanks man, I really appreciate that. I'm sure there will be Something useful in all that information. I think yo
