A small note on Balance (not to get off topic), but, in these types of games there ARE going to be things that will be greatly unbalancing. Like Dragons. Not just Dragons either. What if you get lucky enough to have any kind of flying monster join your army early in the game? Your opponents won't even have the means to hit a flying creature unless you already have Bows or the creature goes up against a enemy Sovereign who shoots it with magic. I'm sure there are other, better, example

I like it. It would be nice to lay down a "Spell Trap" on the field of battle prior to a fight. Watch the enemy unit march over it and set it off....BOOM!!! Excellent Idea.

Still unstable as hell. I can get anywhere from 40 to 60 turns in and it hangs and locks up. Happens constantly. It is more stable then the last build....but not by much. I'm running Windows 7 Professional 64 Bit. Intel Core i7 920 @2.67GHz 4 GB Ram NVidia GeForce GTX 280 All Drivers up to Date with a practically fresh install of Windows. The Elemental Beta is only the 4th program (game type) I've installed. I know this is a "Beta" and all, but it's rea

You know what else sucks about Borderlands? The extreme lack of interactivity with the environment. Not to mention the lack of physics. I saw a bottle on top of a barrel and tried to shoot it off. Not only did the bottle not fall off the barrel, but it didn't even shatter when shot....Wtf?!?!?! Unless you're into repetitive shooters with guns and a lack luster take on the Diablo weapon hunt, skip it.

Wait until you hit the armored spider ants Inerz. They a bit tough. Best way I've found to kill them is to run behind them and shoot them in the abdomen. Even a shotgun to the face doesn't phase these things.

It's been like since Medieval 1. If you know how to Hex edit and what to Hex Edit you can greatly increase the unit size in the Total War games. The whole reason they limit it like that is that most peoples rigs start lagging when you have more then 20 stacks on each side

I'm averaging Frame Rates in the 60's and 70's unless I look at the sky at which point it hits the high 90's. You can even move around the world and look at stuff in the benchmark. Most other benchmarks I've seen and tried don't give you control like that. Normally it's just a walkthrough where your view is restricted to foll

Leliana is totally not Imoen.
lol, well, if you look at it like that then all RPGs with Elves and Dragons and such are rehashes of each other. Dragon Age is the first RPG I've seen in a long time that's made more for mature gamers. Man I miss Imoen.
Well in rebuttal to Raven. If they know about those problems, they don't usually patch with them. Most people have a different hardware and software configuration and it can be very, very difficult to get it right on the first try. You just can't be sure how your code is going to work with every hardware and software configuration. Sometimes they just screw up. People aren't perfect, even the guys in internal QA aren't perfect

It's not just you, friend. I've only managed to finish One Game of Elemental since the latest Beta Build came out. The hot fix they put out afterward didn't do anything to fix any of the issues except for a crash on startup that I didn't have anyway... I don't see why'd they bother to give us a Beta build to test if it won't run long enough to accurately Test anything. (No offense SD) For the next build they need to worry more about making it stable then they do the time-frame
