Those of us old enough to remember Dragon warrior, will all remember the prompting "A red slime draws near, command?"
Man I loved those Dragon Warrior games. I got the first one when I was 9 or 10. It took me almost 6 months to finally beat it I think. Those were the days.

Torrents are mostly crap and viruses anyway. All the "Scene" groups post in Newsgroups first, then it filters down to the Torrent sites and Pier to Pier crap like Limewire and IMesh which are also chalked full of computer death. I think in the years to come as technology gets better and better we'll see a Cyber-Police force that will actively hunt and prosecute pirates and anyone else who choses to share information without someone getting their "cut" of the action, copyrighted or not

See, I told you I'd do a review for this :P Ok, so here goes... Let's start this off right by saying that "King Arthur: The Role-Playing War Game" is loads of fun if you're a fan of war games and fantasy role playing games. For a long time now a lot of people (including me and Frogboy too it seems) have been screaming for a Fantasy Total War type game. There have been a few attempts, like Elven Prophecy, but they didn't capture the battle engine well IMO. King Arthur comes close.
do you seriously want us to rally together to create a petition or something to send to creative for a total war game with magic? (like an actual total war game, rather than King Arthur... which I'm more interested in now that ravan is waving it around)
I'm not sure who this "ravan" guy is you're talking about :P, but it's a pretty cool

I've been playing Armada 2526 for the last two nights off and on. I'm bouncing back and forth between Armada, King Arthur, and Dragon Age. I just don't have enough time to play all the games I want these days. It's ok so far but it definitely needs some tweaking to really shine. The camera control for the battles is atrocious and the UI needs a lot of functionality added to it. It also needs to be able to remember custom game settings which it currently doesn't. What saddens me is I s

Frogboy, you need to check out that new game "King Arthur: The Role-Playing Wargame" for inspiration. They did indeed make what I'd call "Magic: Total War". I also think they stole some idea's from Elemental and were just lucky beating you to release. The battle engine for the game, in appearance, is what I would call "Magic: Total War". In it's use and implementation though it's not quite as deep as a Total War game, but it's close. It has fantasy units and magic spells that can be cast by h

You should look at some big study where everything is taken into account, like manufacturer (LeadTek, MSI, Sapphire etc.), kisel quality, developer problems (perhaps ATI rushed the R&D at one or two generations of cards) and such.
