Witcher 2 does look like it'll be pretty good. I don't think I like the look of the two main bad guys though. They look like hobo's you'd run into in a dark alley, not like sneaky, stealthy, assassins who kill kings. I hope they have something better then that up their sleeves for villains.

Just as your example given about "Africa and the Endless Ocean". Many people wouldn't like games like those. If you go into it knowing you like the subject content though does it really matter? [quote who="Nesrie" reply="19" id="2592649"] How exactly does your philosophy actually help someone choose a game? The reason people read reviews is to figure out whether they should throw their 60 dollars down for a game or not. Your position takes place after the purchase and not before which is completely useless in the decision part of the equation. As for sharing your like of a game despite medicore or low scores, well word of mouth and fan reviews work real well for that. I usually

The best advice I can give... Like what you like, don't like what You don't like, and to hell with what anyone else things. Be your own person even if that means you're the only person in the world playing a particular game. As long as you like it and it makes you happy, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. Don't be a clone.
The conversation really should get back on topic, but, just to clear up a few misconceptions. A: That case I quoted did come from America, right here in Florida. B: The parents aren't getting money from any kind of law suite. The State will be the ones making the profit. They are having the State "press charges" because technically, even though all the kids went to school together, had been boyfriend and girlfriend for apparently quite a while, and the girls consented,

Intelligence, as in raw intelligence, is lower today than it was 20 years ago and lower than it was 100 years ago, at least statistically. Some of this can be accounted for in the lack of funding our public schools receive. However, it can also be accounted to us relying on technology so much that we forget to use our own brains for the most basic of pro
[quote who="ZehDon" reply="148" id="2591092"] Now, this is where I have to stop and disagree. Ignoring the fact that human evolution has produced no discernable effects over the last 500 years or so of recorded medical human history and many debate that the invention of medicine and our combined technologies have stunned human evolution significantly as we've allowed the weak to survive and all that jazz, you're arguing that we've evolved to a point over the course o
[quote who="ZehDon" reply="146" id="2591051"] And I won't argue to the contrary because I agree; children are like spounges and love to mimic what they see, thus they love to act older than they are. Lower the age of consent to 15 and you lower the room for development and advance the generational desensatisation that we're seeing; what happens when 10 year olds want to act like 15 year olds? Ask any Human Development teacher from your local high school - children's bodies develop

In other words, if you call a turn a day, and some things seem to fast and others drag on to uselessness, then it still seems like there is going to be a sense of "Hey how come it takes me as long to make a sword as it takes to do "x" in regards to the dynasty system?". There's going to be that lack of coherence to the passage of time even

Also try adjusting some of your advanced options like AA. Sometimes disabling some things can fix specific errors.
