I got deterred by the bad reviews on UFO: Extraterrestrials. Is it really so near of the original game?
Honestly, seeing as I consider my-self a "Hard Core X-Com Fan", I thought Extraterrestrials was a pretty good game (once BMan's Mods were added). You NEED BMan's Mods to enjoy the game because they fix a lot of bugs. Also you can install his Mods to fix the bugs and then decide what parts of it you want to "Turn On". This means

Try to make models more versatile, like beign able to place diferent colors and texture on the same shape. My wife and I are going to see the new movie "Kickass" tonight. I really hope it's as good as it looks and not one of those where the previews show the only good parts. I really like the concept and premise of this one as I think anyone would who had dreams of being a Super-Hero as a child. Let's hope this movie is as "Kickass" as it's title (pun intended). I'll edit this post later tonight or tomorrow after I get back and let everyone know how it was. Who else wants to see it this weekend?</

Hell I've purchased X-Com almost a dozen times to get it to work on various OS changes. The worst part about the news is that the company that "has" X-Com is going to destroy it to make a quick buck and pretty much guarantee we never get a quali
Oddly enough stranger things have happened. Back in the day we totally reworked the way housing was accessed in UO because the players complained about the way it was set up. Meh, I'm just geting my hopes up they will somehow see the light and not kill what's left of X-Com's name with this shitty remake.

Well it looks like that 2K Games version of X-Com I was talking about a few weeks ago has been announced.
