the main difference is time rate. and how cool it looks. all a TBS does is this: click..... click..... click.... ooh, a ship moved!.... click.... wow, it rolled 2 damage! in RTS, you can see ships all moving together, and even experience the joy of a good ol' fashun'd civil wah voll'y that decimates the opposing fleet. in my experience, a TBS doesn't really give that good of graphics, or of an experience. you don't get into the feel of the game, because

Subjectivity is just a clash of opinions, and no amount of agreement or disagreement can make either position right. In the end it all comes down to taste, nothing more. TBS is little more than Risk with 1,000 variables you must track, yet no pressure nor micromanagement. Maybe that's why I struggle to l
and here it comes - EVENTUALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they haven't said. at all.
hmmm.... you're right. anyway, they aren't actual lasers either way - they are assumed to be superheated plasma projected and held together by a magnetic field from the barrel.
it might be moddable (alter the spawn ship type)
Sure but for easy use, im thinking 4 is max ^ ^ >> v v clik on the side you want to power up, clik on the x to keep it even, right clik to enable autocast/desid
actually, the star wars ones are "blasters", not lasers. even ships batteries are reffered to as "turboblasters"
that's the missile barrage talking.
chances are that there aren't that many supertanker shipyards in the TEC empire, but those would be a little quicker to retrofit, but they would still need to be refitted to add much more interior framework, so that the warships aren't just a hollowed out hull. the main size would be for medium (cruiser) size vessels and smaller. civilian vessels are also much less structurally sound than warships, not being intended to get SHOT . this would also mean a decen
I'd suggest 6 for caps - fore, aft, port, starboard, upper, and lower.
Out of all the Space Scifi, Star Wars, is perhaps the worst when it comes to laws pf physics and everything else. Yep. It is fine for soft SciFi to get around the limits of the speed of light by coming up with space folding, short cuts through other dimensions (think of two points at opposite ends of a sheet of paper and you fold the sheet so that they are touching), etc. However, in Starwars they refer to pa
FTL would take very long, even with ten times light speed, and there is also the time alteration factor at such high speeds. if that was true, then the fleets would never arrive anywhere in time and would be strung out throughout time. its just unfeasible if it was conventional FTL and not interdimensional travel.
the mod tool site has been under maintenance - supposed to be open "early December"
yeah, i heard about it in KOTOR, but there wasn't really anything mentioned about it, it was only referenced
well, he's just dead. I mena one like, all white eyes, same color skin as above, square loose jaw , etc. then I can make zomzom jokes. (for example, above i would have done: :zombie: muuuuust have kaaaaarmaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. muuuuust eat annator's brains for kaaaaarmaaaaaaaaa)
what I was going for really was a certain firepower spread. the combat caps are meant to jump right into a group of smaller ships and "spread the pain". but I didn't know the Radiance didn't have anti-strikecraft, tho.
You know, the Great Hyperspace War was an actual war in Star Wars history. just thought I'd throw that out there.
[e digicons]:pout:[/e] pleeeeeezzzz? I guess not.[e digicons]:hugme:[/e] [they need a zombie icon]
genrally a combat cap - Kol, Radiance, Kortul - is the best kind to bring, along with light frigates and maybe a few HCs
Is it me, or when an opponent has 3 lvl 6 cap schips, then you're doing something wrong or you should have something to compensate that already... LoL logic, that never works.
what about when your opponet has eight level tens, four level nines, three level eights, and one seven?
I've pretty much made all of my points, actually.
Man, i'm all alone. I think i'm the only proponent of the simple ftl theory. By the way, i've never been a big user of the rubber mat universe example. It doesn't take into account the three axes, so often causing people to draw the wrong conclusions from it. And, you poor dude. Dealing with little kids all day. *Shudder*
actually it can be quite fun. especially
Just giving a some ideas to make the story more believable and to be honest, I kind of take offense when someone insults the Vasari by saying they have no chance of winning. It's just that they are my main race, and I've gotten rather attached to them. Heil, Vasari!
