Vasari have the mastery of phase space - mainly phase stabilizers and RA
Orodum
you guys know that you are suposed to use the pair that was given in the previous "Versus" post, right? and then choose what two groups/icons will fight next, and the next person decides the outcome of that.
1) chuck says "tsew mada" and Adam West is vanquished back tothe othe dimension from which he came. 2) everyone dies in a really big explosion
that would be why i don't have repulsive problems. my normal fleet make-up ends up with about 200+ squadrons (no joke, no exaggeration)
other terms to be added: RA - Returning Armada ; you would not believe how many do not know this term cap - capitol ship FLTCOM - Fleet Command ; this is a navy term that might be applied here DC ships - Direct combat ships (light frigate, heavy cruiser) ; an occasionally used term Flagship - the ship with the fleet icon above it. mine - the exploding kind extractor - what you use to get resources
well, you might be able to trick some one into flipping out. have four-five light frigates at once came at a planet from multiple phase lanes, and have your fleet attack elsewhere. your opponet should see the alert on the screen, but it would show the diversion planet, not the true target planet. only if he/she went into the report menu would they see it. might work, might not. also, will not work with scouts! they do not ring the audible alarm.
'sall right. I didn't realize to use google until recently.
this should be it https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/332606/ oh, the wonders of Google search - came up as the first result (searched: RTS tetris sins of a solar empire) and PC games might be a better area.
It takes a bit of hunting. Go here: C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\ScreenShot It makes you take a trek through your directory.
or you can just pop the address into your hard drive address bar. much faster.
Guardians with Repulsion... Ugh how I hate these. How do you even kill them? Honestly. There seems to be some bug with them too, where the repulse my units OUT OF THE GRAVITY WELL, where they get stuck.
I just focus fire. eventually, they die. I don't really have a problem with killing the Guardians, and they generally go very quickly.
right now, I'm finally gaining ground on a Hard TEC AI on Hyperion's Gates. a literally sixteen hour game so far, I have one system, he had the other. I repelled four or five of his attacks through the star (they were pretty strong attacks - probably most if not all of his ships) and finally got my fleet strong enough to chase his. I bring my fleet through the star, chasing his through five of his occupied planets, and finally destroying his fleet. I take up residence
can't get the digicons to work right. ignore the sunglasses dudes.
Carriers aren't overpowered, you just don't know how to fight them. The only carriers that could possibly be considered overpowered are the Guardians with Repulsion, and you just have to know how to fight it and bring plenty of flak (or a cap ship that disables strike craft).
actually, guardians aren't carriers. they're support/command (can't remember which) cruisers. the Aeria Drone Hosts and Halcyon Carrier&nb
Quoting Orodum, reply 9 Frog and ninja fight to standstill. no winner. no loser. Why are the ninjas fighting the Frog? Samurye.
that was with a japanese accent in english, so a "would" is meant in there.
but the other superweapons don't take planets. well... i guess the novalith cannon can, but only low health ones. it would be nice to have the Kostura Cannon buffed a little tho.
personally, I tend to build two military labs, and the rest civis first for a couple tiding-over prototypes, and for RA. Phase missiles are a must. definitively. max them out ASAP, as well as shields. those two will greatly increase your fleets survivability, as shield mit is always active, but armor only comes into play once shields are down. if you are against another Vasari, tho, I'd suggest evenly researching armor/hull and shield/shield mitigat
The new Prince of Persia, actually, only has you fight one opponent at a time. The attacks and animations are wonderfully detailed and executed Assassin's Creed is also not a bad game in this regard, though you often can take on a mob of guys. Still, there are interesting attacks and combos, and the animations are generally pretty well done.
actually, if you search for the Templars, you really have a good fight on
while it would be nice if it was on the pc, it is looking to be a great game. The main reason the console RTS interface is awkward (supposedly) is because it was a pc game that was transitioned to the console. Halo Wars is going to be designed for the 360, so its interface is likely to be much more useful and easy to use than the other RTS console games.
