Custom design of units maxs out at three traits, doesn't it? Or have I missed an opportunity?

Update: I just finished playing a game on a large map. I found that upgrading my interior outposts to towers that increased friendly movement a big help. It enabled a relatively small but experienced force mobile enough to secure a very wide area. And outposts near combat active borders were upgraded to one of the several combat/spell casting enhancement. The only upgrade I never use is the clatrap (slows enemy movement). The only reason I don't use the 'slow enemy movement' upgrade is b
thanks Lo...
Checked it out. If you move your unit/stack 1,2, or 3 (etc.) spaces at a a time, each time you 'end' the movement order (even if you have movement left) your unit will scan the area. You may then continue movement. its a pain, but then again, if you are in a new area, perhaps its a way of forcing players to go a bit slow,, and look, before zooming past something interesting.
Opps, I just posted this one, the sword does work as described.....
I have never figured out how to kill the mean ol dragon past the second gate....
As mentioned above, some "spells" given by items are actually in the ability drop down box, not the spell drop down box. I had a whole list of 'bugs' and then stumbled upon this "other' drop down box. A note about this might help new players...

I'm OK with most of the upgrade aspects of units. There are two things (maybe one if implemented appropriately) that I would like to see changed. Allow the player (and #2: the AI when it uses the appropriate sovereign - explained below)) to create/design (a) unit(s) that is(are) an upgrade of a current unit. This way some armor (not all) and/or some items, and/or a mount, and/or some traits may be included in the 'new' upgraded unit. This has several affects: First, *when* a Fortress i
yes, make road from here to here is excellent idea.
I like no. 3
And what are your 'special' coupons? Inquiring minds want to know... (smile)
This is true, if you move all at once. If you move one space and pause, what happens? And then continue your move one or two spaces... not sure myself, will test.
Pioneers already have a build a road one tile per turn ability.
Hey StevenAus, I must be blind... so many quest that i have never heard of... is there a list anywhere?
I like the idea that monsters don't raze the city, but rather 'raid' it. Bandits would get food, supplies, better weapons, armor, entertainments(morale, levels), and new recruits. Settlement looses some pop and maybe some infrastructure. Beasts, etc., go to town for some shopping and dinner (pop). They leave with higher level, maybe a few new 'youngins.' After a successful raid - thay go back to surrounding area and roam... City ow
Hi SteveAus, may I ask, does this temple (for the mana spells) appear in all games? Am I not seeing it, and I have the whole map revealed. For the mastery quest - I can never kill the dragon... and I am thinking that the mana blast spell might be the key....
Make a deal>>> In exchange for the expansion, offer her a coupon book that **you** have made. Main rule is then when she redeems a coupon, you must act on it within 5 minutes (or immediately, if you are smart). In the coupon book are: [[ (1) coupon for instant end to an argument, shelving for one week, and makeup SNUGGLING - not just sex.]] [[ (2) Pillow fight to commence immediately (pausing game first is ok).]] [[ (3) your undivided attention fo
Game has so many easily customizable options. I likely. Choosing options doesn't change internet achievements. I likely lots. Current mods are easy to add. I likely lots and lots. Like, whats not to like?
What quests unlock the mana blast/shield spells. I have played 5 games and never encountered these spells. Cleared all quest sites.... (sad)
bacco happens in most games. When i lose, I send an army after hime, right away, and he ends up joining the faction. Oh and he gets paid in beer... not gildars. Nice
Thanks all, appreciate helping me understand.
I sit corrected Doc. (smile)
@ Chubberz: It usually takes 2 -3 repeated castings of the summer spell (all near each other) to get one or more settle sites.
I am amazed at how we are getting so many better tools and using them for surgery and health. I am beginning to understand what Bones meant (on an old episode of the original Star Trek series) when he said something like "... fungascoptic (fundoscopic?) surgery? that's barbaric! " What wonderful things we can do when we decide to make life better.
