I am also concerned that all the new domain names remove one of the safety features of the current scheme. A domain name ending in ".gov" was safely assumed to be a site actually hosted by a real government. Same for several other dot combos. I don't feel secure at all with the new scheme.

I have no problem testing in this thread. May I suggest you examine proposed avatar size, file format, etc. Avatars have to be quite small in size for the SD system to accept it.
