I agree wit all this. Also, especially in early and middle game, when decent equipment, weapons, armor are still so scarce, why, when you win a battle, don't get at least "some" of the defeated soldiers / individuals equipment. Sure, some gets "lost" in the sand, some gets destroyed by the combat. But all of it, always? Ever face a SOV sporting some awesomely high armor factor/rating? Kill him/her. I, for one, have tried most of the mods that have been released, so far. Even the small ones. I do have a suggestion, that is really piggy-backing on a number of fine suggestions others have made. And, please, don't think I am a control freak -far from it. I have trouble, not only with stacking ships, but stacking units, especially beyond 9 in a square.

In the current system (1.09), late game armor makes archers pretty lame. However, archers can improve their hits, in late game, by adding crystal produced equipment. Its only a +2 to attack, but it helps.

Thanks gazz, just went to gog. dl as I write. Crazy question. i only 'purchased a download for MoM. But when I go to my games dl page, it has 4 games there, "under a steel sky" etc. Is this normal? This has happened to me several times, in several games. Sometimes, the 'house' is in the middle of empty land, (not in a settlement) inside another SOV's territory. My only concern was, at the time, that the enemy could use that tile to "attack" my city. Apparently the AI doesn't "see" these misplaced tiles. Would it show in a multi-player game? Would it be a short cut to attacking, or entering the city as a whole?

May I follow up on a suggestion I made a few weeks ago? Divide the current "food" resource into "food" and "water." Now, make the only sources of water to be: Oasis, and 'herd' squares.
