No. I find that the more games focus on multi-player, the more they tend to cut down on things I enjoy. I'll give two examples: -I love strategy, but my hands are all mangled and slow, yet turn-based games are neigh impossible to come by (for several reasons, i know) one of which is that games move faster, and require less time commitment if they are RTS. -I love a good story, an expansive one with little nuances that make it all feel alive this

I noticed something similar in one of my 1.3 games, any city that Paradin and Capitar built while at war they immediately built defensive walls, but since the ability to build houses regardless of tile usage appears to still be bugged (at least at level 1) so that's all those cities ever built. This was not a problem with the other 5 AIs in my game, presumably because they were never building cities near a war zone. In more detail: Paradin was large enough
Units are way too fragile these days. If two comparable melee units touch each other, they simply both explode into a pile of gore. Armor is almost pointless, since the differential between attack power and defense power is usually way greater than hit points. It makes archery way too powerful, and war incredibly destructive.
I don't mind the whole "incredibly destructive" part, but i have to admit the first thing I do is invest in

the main screen seems to round to the nearest integer, so anything less than .4 will appear as 0. it still grows though. I'm pretty sure it has always been this way for the sake of brevity and simplicity. I've got no answer for the other oddities. It's an attempt to limit city spam (have lots of low level cities, or a few high level). But yes, on a large map that can be problematic because you MUST have a lot of cities. Of course,

I'm not sure a different anything will help you remember the name; you'd probably just call them 'the tank race' or 'the spam race' or something more related to their attributes anyway. [e digicons]:P[/e] I do like the idea though. (although giving any race an advantage with bows will make them my go-to since the current glass cannon status of soldiers would let them destroy armies from across the map with ease. heck it's pretty much my go-to now!)[e digicons

As a question, how large have you people gotten your dynasties? I've gotten down to great-great-great-grand children with no blood based inbreeding. I currently have a "37th in line for the throne of." Needless to say I sort of plan for large dynasties in my games.

I like this as well. A suggestion for execution: remove the buff from the various town defenses and simply allow a very unbalanced tactical map (with appropriate fortifications). Then let siege weapons destroy said fortifications. If you attach the unbalance buff to the wall, when the wall is destroyed, it removes the buff (also presumably anyone standing on the wall at the time. (though I wonder if this is actually possible in WoM; all the tact

I've got 1.2c and I've only seen it when i created a custom map and accidentally tried to put a river tile down. It didn't show up in the forge, so i wasn't sure it did anything until i notice two persistent, conspicuous, black squares. In your case it probably means the game has confused itself and forgotten how to get the right icon (sort of like when a character portrait changes, or the background disappears). I'm not sure why it

A few things we might want to know: -what version are you playing? (i cannot find the thread, but i believe that the boats may have been disabled as there were some problems, especially as it relates to the AI) -did you build your harbor on a beach? (it's weird, but there is a bug in some versions that lets you build it anywhere in your city. this can prevent you from using boats correctly). -how are you trying to move the boat?
I also find it odd that a dead person speaks to the one who just murdered her....
It's not that odd, in fact in Shakespeare, classical epics, and the like, dead or dying people can speak at great length. Heck, the only reason Hector didn't in the Iliad is because Achilles had the intelligence to cut him off, tell him to shut up, and stab him in the throat. [e digicons]

It's supposed to go to the team that has the best relations (kids help, being the same 'type' [kingdom/empire] helps, etc.). In my experience sovereigns don't usually die until i destroy all their cities. The one time i saw an exception (which was late game) the cities disappeared. I guess no one liked them. - it's worth noting they never had a name to bequeath things to either, but i always assumed it was because they no one got anything.

These are two things I have noticed since 1.2 that have bothered me a bit. I imagine they are both easy to fix. A better way to address the palace issue is to have a smaller palace like structure that can be built elsewhere (think Forbidden City in Civ 4). Such were actually pretty common back in the day as kings often traveled and travel took a long time and said king wanted his own place. Summer palaces, etc, make sense. As an alternative approach you could have a palace that rules a city of a certain size that give a bonus when any member of the royal family is in town (combine it

Personally I don't care as much if it's not in FE (i mean it'd be nice, but, you know...) I'm just saying i'd like to see it improve because it's a great, fun, and brilliant (if minor) aspect of the game (and i'm sick of watching fun parts of games get axed because "they're not central/pivotal/important/etc." [see, e.g. the trend of attributes and skill in the last three elder scrolls games.
