I don't really like the city zoom mode. Whatever the default is, I'll probably just keep it off and go merrily on my way. As for placing city building manually, I'm ok with that too -- just be careful not to slip up with ports, watermills & lumberyards that seem to need to be in specific locations.
Simplest way to make trade/caravans better than WoM would be to just bring back a limit of 3 caravans per city. They really have improved caravans a lot in FE by making the ones that haven't set up routes yet show on the left side of the screen, by showing the trade-to city or "none" in the tool-tip, and by making caravans re-spawn after they are "destroyed" by monsters. Caravan management would be ok with those changes if there weren't so many more caravans. And t
g.err implies you were loading a saved game within a game? Is this correct? And you're running Windows XP SP3?
Yes to both. But I can load game within game pretty well in either 0.75 or the slipstream, except for the game I updated in the middle off, which where my errors came from. My bad for mixing versions.
OOM saving a game. 2nd time now, but never had one in the official 0.75. Would it help if I start a new campaign instead of continuing the .75 one ? Edit: yes, starting clean helps a LOT. crash zip http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8928343/FallenEnchantress0_75-2012-01-21T08-26-56-62.zip debug.err http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8928343/debug-OOM2.err Quo

Looking forward to much larger maps when I upgrade to 64-bit and and a generally faster machine. I played WoM on its largest size map, but I doubt my current rig could handle much more.
Started with a data-execution-protection error from windows. After I closed that error message, FE crashed. Application event viewer "Faulting application FallenEnchantress.exe, version 0.7.5.0, faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x3b3e94b7." crash zip file http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8928343/FallenEnchantress0_75-2012-01-20T21-06-59-515.zip debug.err http://dl.
CTD saving my first custom unit. IIRC, it was a spearman with 2 traits and 2 (?) magic items, with early-game spear & leather armor, all set to upgrade. crash zip file http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8928343/FallenEnchantress0_75-2012-01-20T20-16-11-843.zip debug.err http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8928343/debug.err Windo
The player's mouse icon doesn't update correctly in Tactical Battles. If I highlight an enemy to attack, order the attack and complete the attack, the icon changes to the "you can't attack" icon correctly. However, if I don't move the mouse, when the turn ends and it becomes my turn to attack again, the icon is still displayed as "you can't attack" until I move the icon off the unit and back again. This is true for any circumstance where you don
Agree with #1 & #2. Haven't looked into #3 yet.
I vote for something a little more dramatic.

Not yet, but plan to upgrade in the next 6 months, sooner if FE seems slow on my current rig. (waiting for Ivy Bridge, full range of AMD 7000-series gpus, and for HP prices to go back to normal). Absolutely more likely to buy a game if it is 64-bit capable.
In a game with several players set to challenging, winning becomes something that involves serious skill since the AI will make it a point to work together.
That bit worries me a little. In other 4x games, it irritates me that the AI players band together against the human instead of seeking their own best interest. I'd rather have challenging AI be smarter, 2nd choice is bonus to hit points, gold, etc, etc.
I wouldn't mind a little more monitor flexibility either.
Facebook fooey. My cats might be interested if FB would permit. Equal rights for felines ! :)

"(and it'll be after it because no one wants to be on beta babysit watch during the 4 day weekend)" But it can't start until after the new Stardock Central, right ?? Who got the short straw on babysitting that over the 4-day weekend, or it that after Thanksgiving day too?
Make sure games are playable, and transferable to replacement/upgrade hardware even if the vendor & software company go out of business.
I just like the the idea of history graphs. In final version, please ?
Re the 10 years in the future... games I like are rare and I stick with them a loooong time. Besides EWoM, all I have played in the last year is Shogun 1 (about a decade old), and MoM (already old when Shogun came out). I will be bummed if I am not playing FE or at least FE2 nth expansion-pack 10 years from now. (EWoM -- well, I will be bummed if I AM playing that one in 10 years, because that would mean something horrible happened to FE)
