I'd say if in doubt, do it the MoM way. :) of course the cost depends on the Mana System, 20 mana in MoM was maybe more (or less) than it will be Elemental? although since this isn't MoM, I could live with the idea of a Caravan research or a spell to allow it.

I think this is the problem: http://forums.cnet.com/5208-10149_102-0.html?threadID=119317 so, my dear 4GB 64bit vista (according to dxdiag) shares 1,7GB! which means I have only 2,3GB RAM, which is (together with Vista) just not enough. I'm not 100% sure if this is correct, because I'm no PC guru. But what else could it be? since dxdiag says my video card has 500MB dedicated RAM, I *thin
thank you for the explication, that was insightful.[e digicons]k1[/e] so if I understand you correctly on a 64 bit OS this wouldn't be a problem because one has MUCH more adresses - but according to these links (especially the 3rd "askdan") there are other problems with PAE and driver compability. To be honest: I have no clue about all these things. I only know, that my 64bit OS keeps telling me in the task manager that there are 3058MB real memory at hand. Does vista use 1GB ram
this has to do with the timing of the auto-movement. in star dock games, units moving automatically, because you gave them a path that takes more than one turn, will move AFTER you click end turn. the reason is, that the developers think that you should have an opportunity to change the movement in THIS turn, and not in the turn before . this may sound logical but if you play civ often, where it is a movement IN the turn (automatically, after all non-"go to"-u
oops, you are right! I did it wrong :) http://screencast.com/t/MWI2OGI5MmMt
I changed that in impulse, still it has been installed in c:\ (the download has been put into d:\ but not the installation of the downlod).
here is everything explained: (could anyone confirm this information?) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3_GB_barrier http://blogs.msdn.com/b/hiltonl/archive/2007/04/13/the-3gb-not-4gb-ram-problem.aspx http://www.dansdata.com/askdan000
I don't believe that's what SD is up to. Why would they even bother with tactical combat, if there are no things like in MoM: attack, ranged attack/defense/hp/ to hit /resistance, speed,. plus nearly 50 abilities, like fire damge, throwing of axes, first strike, illusionary attacks, stone gazing, and counters to those things plus many spells that add even more attributes/immunities? and was MoM complicated? not at all! It was completely intuitive (of course the right
since both of you have 8 GB, while I have only 4 gb ram, it seems not as if this was the source of the problem. I once read something about a memory cap in windows, which is at 3gb ram. maybe that's what causes this poblem? (even if you have more ram (physically or virtual), windows won't let you "use" it.) I'm no expert in computers, just guessing. http://www.cadforum.cz/cadforum_en/qaID.asp?tip=5
cool, thank you for the link! [e digicons]|-)[/e] and that's hilarious! [e digicons][/e]
I can't see the intro.. after loading, it "hangs", then I have to alt tab out and in, after that it works, although I haven't seen the intro.
on my sys, in the very beginning it's a bit slow (the first 8 seconds maybe), after that it's smooth.
As title says, notebook just turned off. there was no Zipfile in the path for vista: programdata/stardock/elemental - war of magic, there was only .csv-file named ElementalClient_5738896 with the info S|R,Typ,Pckt#,Frm #,PktID,BitLn,Time ,Local IP:Port ,RemoteIP:
