Blizzard have been overrated since they begun to solely develop sequels, and the abomination to Mmo gaming that is WOW..... meh. They have been coasting along on their past successes for awhile now. I doubt anyone is really left who made those classic Blizzard games in the 90's
Explain to me why exactly WoW is an abomination to MMO gaming. 'Endless grindin
In GalCiv, minor races were pretty much at the mercy of the player.
Oh God...the memories...THE MEMORIES! One time, a Minor Race spawned and basically took a random planet from every race, taking all technologies with them...I was a heavy researching race for extra income. The other races basically spread out in the war section. The result: A minor race being far more superior then all of us combined.

Shapeshifting, period. Why use mind reading if you could just disguise as that person's best friend and ask? Of course, I'm kinda thinking about Alex Mercer type of shapeshifting, awesome :P

Boom Blox was so much fun, so I've got high hopes for this one ^^ Who knows, perhaps Spielberg will rule the gaming industry one day as well lol

PC: About 70 in my rack, 63 games on steam (Damn you PayPal!), about 10 games left on sites like gog.com and direct2drive.com. So I've got about 14 pc games :) X360: About 6 Yes, I bought every single game that I've counted. I'm not counting the games I (luckily) pirated, I buy the games that I've had fun with and delete the games I hated. Seriously, 3/4th of the games released nowadays are just crap.

Let's see, there are quite a few games that I regret buying: 1: Alien shooter (and improvement), Alien shooter 2 (and improvement), zombie shooter: I mean, what the hell are those games? I bought them all in one pack. Many hours of game play with 10 missions and a survival mode [b]Yea right, I played through 5 missions in one hour before getting bored. Tried survival mode, it basically takes all the good things from the campaign, but still not enough to keep
They say that graphics aren't important ,the gameplay has to be right. Let me tell you this: FCKN-bull-shit!
In my opinion, the gameplay IS more imporant then the graphics. I mean, my favorite game is an ASCII game, Dwarven Fortress. My favorite mmorpg is Tibia, it's anything BUT pretty. Some games thrive on their graphics, yes, but those games won't survive longer then a year

*brain starts to rattle and puff smoke and all* I can't remember the name of the game, but I do remember how it went. You were a bunny and had to eat all the carrots. It was a puzzle game. Eventually, you had rocks sitting on the carrots, rolling down when the carrot was eaten. It's a bit vague, I know, but hell, I was 2 or 3 years old 0.o 'Then how can you remember this game?' I've played it a LOT with my father, weird idea that he used to be a game addict as well lol

Hmm, if they're forced to complete it without using walkthroughs or anything, I wanna be the guy pops up in my mind xD

CAmp 1: Sophisticated sounds like a lot more fun. It offers a lot more freedom and that's something I'm expecting to get in Elemental. Well, I don't really need to explain why, almost every single person explained it before me ^^

It looks good enough to me, I like it that there are a lot of different continents. I must admit though, that I've never played MoM, so I can't say if it's suitable for MoM. For games like Civ though, it would work, I think :)

A few games pop up in my mind: Black & White: Seriously, there's no other game that actually made me LOVE an in-game thing. The creature really became your own, you could teach it anything. Seriously, just writing about this game makes me want to play it again (and cry because of the utter failure called B&W2) Fable: It's the only game I've completed over 10 times. I just loved everything about the game. Fable 2 is great as well, but haven't played it a lot yet. <

In Dominions 3, you had a spell called 'Wish' Basically, the spell allowed a very very experienced caster to wish for something. You could type the thing you wish, and you get it. Immortality? Sure. A huge army standing in front of your castle? Hah, the fools, wish for reinforcements and you'll be granted hundreds of men. Low on resources? No problem. I just loved the freedom that spell gave you. I basically let my pretender god (the experienced caster) sit in a corner of

A game like Elemental doesn't need 3D glasses, FPS's, Adventure games, those kind of games would rock with 3D glasses, but a TBS? Nah, no need for one, imho

Well, you could lead your Channeler into the battle, so that, at the end of it, you might be able to save a lot of your units. Of course, a general that has been enhanced could be used as well. Think of them casting a protective spell around themselves. The more powerful the magic user is, the less units fall to the explosion. It would be even cooler if you were able to see where exactly your troops where, because there, the gruond would be untouched :)

I picture a channeler surrounded by thousands of units, led by a strong hero, getting struck by an arrow. Where a hole should be, pure magic essence comes out, piercing everything it hits. As the body starts to fall apart, more and more holes appear, eventually ending with a big bang, blasting a part of the world map, changing the world dynamically. Mountains could be erased, an enormous crater could be created, perhaps even filling it up with water, slowly letting life grow around it

Yea, the game is really great, you just need to 'break' through the graphics and interface in order to enjoy it. The way the game looks will scare off the average person and you'll need to be very patient in order to learn the game :) But the rewards...the sweet rewards :D

the AI just tries to get from A to B and leave through C. There's not much AI there :) The length of the game is long enough to keep you busy until you get bored, I have the game and I didn't get addicted to it :(
