Has anyone found a way to "mod" the game without deleting original files ? I would like to change the see tile without overwriting the original one ...
As ST said, backup everything. I don't think that the actual modfolder is in yet, though.

Banned for wanting blame. I try to keep an open mind, but that's just peverted.
I'm not sure exactly what causes this (I think it may be conquoring a city) but every so often a unit appears on my sidebar and begins siphoning wages, but I have not trained anyone yet. This only happened after I installed 2.3.
Banned for letting your own bomb blow up on you.
A bit TOO fertile, IMHO. (Don't worry about the odd coloring: It's mine, not the game's). 1253834931
Exactly what it sounds like: I can build structures directly beneath my enemies' feet:
5.The map does not show roads unless they are in your line of sight.
Actually, as I posted here , the roads are there but they are the EXACT SAME COLOR as the FOW, and thus can't be seen.
Aesthetics aside, I hope that the fog of war will not hide any stuctures that are revealed when they come into a unit's view. In GalCiv2, starbases (non-colony, immobile structures) are treated like ships in this regard, so they disappear if you don't keep them in sensor range. If something is big and obviously immobile, it ought to stay on the FoW part of your map until a unit comes by to refresh the data.
I don't think it does, but I generally don't let enemy cities
I think kingdoms that allow for a matriarchy could have civil wars. I mean it could be very complex, but the point is it's a fantasy setting, there is no need to force all kingdoms to have to rely an males to rule.
I concour. But why limit ourselves to direct descendants of some kind? Why not have a few kingdoms with really wierd lines of succession, like the fourth male cousin's mother-in-law or something?
It's fine if they want to do something different but it will be unlikely they can capture this large diversity with only humans, especially on the good side which I wouldn't think would be mutated.
I would certianly not say that: With all the magic zipping around during the Catyclism, you would get all sorts of isolated groups of people with bizzarre physical mutations.
Yeah, I dont want to use color everywhere, since it's really supposed to be a raw (but somewhat fancy) display of the necessary data. If anyone really wants their oceans blue, theres a pretty easy-to-edit png file that should get the job done It could be our first official mod
You called? Anyone who wants blue oceans can either edit the file themselves or just put this in C:\Program Files\St

Well, while I don't know if they clear the "thick" FOW where you have NEVER seen that tile, I don't think it would make sense for them to clear the "thin" FOW where you have been there before but just don't have a unit there now: It's not like you have gaurds stationed every mile or so along the way, is it?
Banned because you'll never win any followers with spelling like that.
