It should be noted that Frogboy is speaking about the 3d engine here. It is highly unlikely that pure data mods would transfer as easily.

And it probably took up a lot more memory in E:wom. I'm really looking forward to the "future", screw 32-bit and ancient machines holding you back, then people saying it looks bland. But we have to respect that FE and its expansion was making it up to E:wom buyers. You can't do that by ditching their hardware.
Very good to hear. I modded back in E:wom and I brought all my 3d assets over to FE in a day. And 90% of that was spent on some slightly altered dimensions of humanoid shoulders, and re-aligning a shield. It allows spells to be cast on a friendly city without having an empty essence slot. 0 It was used for the Blood Curse spell.
They used to be hardcoded but I haven't checked it out in ages.

Yeah, I feel each new patch "breaks" my mods. But that's to be expected, I don't see the problem with it. When you release a mod for anything you do it for the current patch that is out. If balance changes, obviously your mod will be out of date if it contains even a single value of importance. What can Stardock do about that? Nothing.

If a player wants to play a human faction, just use the standard ones. I'm not going to put another human faction in the game, it's a waste of time because it adds nothing. I don't want there to be a starting faction. The fact that you mention centaurs and elves only point out to me that those aren't unique enough yet.
