It plays out almost identical to Sins of a Solar Empire, imho (on 2d plane). Abilitybonusoptions are not updated every turn, meaning you can't put any calculates in them. Automatically updating Calculate can only be used in spelldefs and certain improvements

Why do you need an excuse? Just tell her you enjoy playing the game as a hobby and leave it at that. 20 bucks is nothing compared to golf clubs for 1000+ bucks or hockey equipment for ten times that.

They have announced no plans. Not even an Ultimate Edition Hard Copy. Neither FE nor FE:LH has any always-online requirement. They have a one-time registration. Very nice, so looking forward to this. Disappointed that equipping the sword of nightmares didn't actually equip anything on the hero. Elemental franchise has spoiled me.

It is not compatible with LH. I'm waiting for LH to be released until I make a decision whether or not to port it to LH.
