In a city I had one pioneer and two warriors. The city was attacked by an enemy (edit: enemy monster) that, in combat, killed both my warriors. The city was not destroyed, and the only person remaining in the city was the pioneer.

Uploaded 6.01 All pre-designed Sovereigns now start with the Staff instead of the Warstaff (except Gnork, who has a shortsword) All pre-designed Sovereigns now have the Naturalist talent Removed some abilities from Stormlord Updated to 1.09q standard Fixed issue with Elves' walls not upgrading properly
Since the TravelingBoots have been updated now, I figured it is only prudent to point out that and are also both locked to appear only on kingdom males. In addition, these three cloaks are kingdom only, and not available to empire. Intended or not? <br /
This poses an interesting question. Obviously, crash resports with mods installed are pointless because it may be the mods that crash the game. But what if there's a problem not with the actual mods but rather some unknown error in how they are processed, or some such? In that scenario, it is possible that ANY mod could crash the game even if it's "flawless". So, how do we find a crash that may be caused by using mods in general, but not by a specific mod?
Thanks. I wanted to do something with tentacles, but I'm no 3d modeller and I couldn't get it right. I'll post a visual guide to the death legion later today along with an update to 1.09q.
1.09p is the most up-to-date 1.1 beta. There will be more patches before 1.1 is released, the next one is named 1.09q (which is also 1.1 beta).
When the monster spawns bug out, I send the cheapest peasants on autoexplore around the country-side.
Uploaded 6.0, introducing the Empire of the Death Legion. Be sure to check out the back-story for Sar the Returner.
Just in case anyone thought differently, the beta is open only to those who own the game. Just thought I'd point that out.

Do some tactical battles then check out debug.err they're outputting tactical battle info in 1.09p beta. You'll find very valuable info there.
I think the main issue is you'll finish all spells in 1/4th of the time it takes to finish all the research. I think they're simply trying to balance out the time on both these things so that it makes for "fun" gameplay. I think this will improve as they add more spells, that means they can reduce the research time on spells. In my opinion, a working fix that would work with the current version of the game would be to reduce the time it takes to research spells, but increase t

Obviously I can't just start updating other people's mods. I'm sure the guys doing the undead mod will release something soon-ish. I'd much rather work on adding something new than stealing someone elses work.
I'd wait. The XML isn't set up to handle the new situation. I doubt there's a simple magic fix.
The undead mod isn't mine.
'Ard doesn't mind living things, quite the contrary. In his backstory it says one of his primary goals is to make his own people more alive. The only people the Living Stone hate are those that seek to destroy magic, which would be the Golem King and his golems (the golem king uses destroyed shards to make golems). Right now I think of Empire as Evil and Kingdom as Good, if you want to compare to how races usually align in high fantasy. Of course it's not as black and white as that, a
As soon as I feel I can protect two cities, and see a good spot to place my second city.
